Variety Royalty“Are you okay?”
GOT7 was on their way back to the dorm from the Running Man filming, three in one van and four in the other. Mark had the misfortune of being in the one with Jackson.
“Perfect,” he quipped, looking out the window.
Jackson gave him a side glare. “I don’t believe you.”
“Then don’t believe me,” he stated, still not turning his head.
Yugyeom and Bambam were sitting in the back of the car, nervously quiet and fidgety, hoping the other two wouldn’t start fighting because that was what the atmosphere felt like.
“Fine, have it your way,” Jackson sighed, leaning back into his seat.
They all, including the manager driving, stayed in a tense silence for a long time.
“I’m being serious Mark,” Jackson finally said, shattering the alluded glass, “Are you okay?”
“No, no I’m not okay,” Mark answered, his voice sounding choked, “She wouldn’t look at me. Not the way she used to at least. She seemed cold and distant, and that’s not how I remember her being.
“She wouldn’t let me say anything after her mini spiel, and I have a lot to say.”
“…I don’t remember you being a man of many words,” Jackson joked softly.
Mark cracked a smile, but it turned into a grimace. “No, I guess I’m not.”
Now the quiet that descended on them was more comfortable.
“I have an idea,” Jackson grinned.
