Variety Royalty“Talk” was all Jaye said once she threw Jackson into another room further down the hall. She closed the door and crossed her arms, waiting for him to begin.
He sighed.
“I was jealous, so I thought comparing our variety talents and competing in some way would be…good?” he explained, “But then I talked to Paula—”
“Paula Choi?” she interrupted, surprised.
“Yeah, she said she met you briefly at a music show,” Jackson said, “Anyway, we’re friends and we met up like a week before today’s filming. She told me I was being dumb as usual when I told her about today but that I should take this opportunity to get to know you better instead of judging you without meeting you.”
“That was nice of her,” Jaye smiled, “Alright, cool. I made some assumptions about you as well so I apologize for that…But what’s up with this mission? Why is GOT7 here, and why did I see Billie a second ago?”
“This wasn’t how it was supposed to go,” he said with a hand on the back of his neck, “But we can’t really start over again so we’re probably just going to continue from here…”
“What do you mean, ‘this wasn’t how it was supposed to go’?” she asked before something dawned on her, “Wait a second, I think I heard someone saying Kwangsoo was out. This isn’t a name tag elimination game…Is it?”
Jackson looked away from her gaze without saying anything.
