"! ! !"

The moderate cursing only increased as a small figure continued threading through the many people walking to their destined places - continuously bumping into each and every person in her haste to get to her early morning class.

She knew that she'd regret going to that party her best friend dragged her to. In these moments she failed to understand how in the world she'd let Hyejin convince her to go when she had an important test the very next morning.

Yet she had gone with Hyejin's reassuring that it be fine (we'll have a good time and who knows maybe you'll get a chance to speak to Byul); after that she couldn't help but to agree. But even so she didn't even catch a single glimpse of the older girl who Jung Wheein has been crushing on for months now.

"Damnit!"

She groaned as she got shoulder checked by a taller boy rushing past her, his hair messy as he clutched tighter onto the papers that were threatening to fall out of the folder keeping them in place. She swore that he looked as similar to the boy she had seen making out with a brunette by the kitchen counter the night before at the party. But in that moment Wheein wasn't sure if it really was him.

She gasped as she almost managed to slip on the snow covered ground but miraculously regained her footing as she slowed her pace just a tiny bit before continuing towards her class. She now cursed herself for waking up late with the knowledge that her class was across the campus far from where her dormitories were located. As well as her best friend for dragging her to her party - although without a protest from Wheein after she said the older girl's name. (Byul). She couldn't help but smile.

Wheein suddenly felt slightly ashamed of herself for having even a small slimmer of hope of wanting to see the older girl. How could she let Hyejin play her that way? (Yet she couldn't deny the fact that her eyes had traveled all around the room in search of the older girl's trademark blonde hair among the sea of black and brown.)

"Aish, Hyejin!"

She grumbled as she fixed her coat and her scarf, her hands then flying to her head and fixing the grey beanie atop her head - keeping it from falling off in her haste. She clutched her bag tighter against her body helping fend off the winter winds of the early morning although it didn't stop her from shivering against the cold air surrounding her.

She continued on with her way only managing to slip a few times here and there - never quite falling. She struggled as she climbed the stairs towards the entrance of the building in which her classroom was located.

Suddenly she felt herself miss a step - she felt her heart skip a beat before her stomach flopped and she struggled to grab onto something - anything to keep her from crashing to the ground and falling down the stairs she had just barely managed to climb.

Her fingers wrapped around a thin material of something soft before she heard a gasp and then a distinctive thud as something heavy fell to the ground before she felt a striking pain shoot up her arm as she landed on top of it before falling on top of something soft and squishy.

Opening her eyes slowly she was shocked to see blonde hair and the scent of lilac surrounding her as she stared at none other than Moon Byulyi - the campuses one and only Girl Crush.

"Oh my gosh! How did you manage to fall? Did I hold on to you? I'm so sorry if that's the case, I didn't really mean it. You see I was in a hurry and the stairs are slippery and I slipped and I just didn't want to fall so I grabbed onto something... and I... I'm sorry."

She had somehow managed to say all of that in one breath as she stared down at a straight faced Byulyi before a small smile etched its way into the blonde's lips and Wheein felt like she was falling all over again

(what with the way her stomach flopped and her heart started racing).

"Are you going to keep sitting on me?"

Wheein blushed before quickly shuffling off of the older girl and helping her stand before grabbing her bag that had fallen and slinging it over her shoulders, she resorted to staring at the older girl who was doing the same thing as her but in such a languid way that it was starting to frustrate Wheein because she had to get to class (but it didn't stop her from wanting to stay firmly placed just where she was and stare at Byulyi, now that she was standing right in front of her.).

"Are you okay? I didn't hurt you or anything did I? Because if I did, I'm terribly sorry and like I said before it was an accident, please don't be mad! I swear if I did hurt you, I will find a way to make it up to you!"

Wheein watched as the taller girl - she never knew that she was taller than her - grabbed her bag of the floor and fixed her blonde hair before smiling at Wheein, catching her off guard and causing her knees to buckle and soon she found herself falling again but luckily Byulyi managed to catch her just in time.

"You seem to be falling a lot, huh?"

"The ground's slippery..." Wheein whispered a dark blush making an appearance on her face before she pulled away from Byulyi's grasp. "You fell too..."

The older girl only laughed before stuffing her hands in her jacket pocket trying to keep them warm, "yeah, well you pulled on me, somehow. I was already on top of the stair and before I knew it I was falling."

Wheein shuffled her feet before reaching a hand up to her head and brushing a strand of hair away from her face before fixing the beanie once more.

"I apologised for that." She replied earnestly.

Byulyi smiled kindly at her before speaking softly, "I know you did, it's fine don't worry about it."

Wheein felt a pang  her chest, she still felt bad for having potentially hurt her crush. "Still... I'm really sorry."

Byulyi brushed her hair back with her right hand and Wheein felt her heart skip a beat and a shy smile graze her lips as Byulyi locked eyes with her before smiling in such a way that it was impossible for Wheein to decipher.

"Guess I'm falling for you."

The older had said casually before putting a hand on Wheein's arm and guiding the awestruck and furiously blushing girl inside the building, unaware of the way Wheein's heart raced against her ribcage and the way Byulyi's hand shook her whole body awake - something that the coffee she had made this morning before coming, didn't do.

"Where's your classroom, I'll walk you there."

Wheein struggled to even form coherent thoughts much less words. Finally she managed to say softly and in a - at least she hoped - reassuring way.

"It's fine, I can go there myself. No need to go out of your way to-"

"Now," Byulyi started before facing the younger girl, "I wouldn't want you falling for other people now would I? Since I fell for you it's only logical and fair for you to fall for none other than me, right?"

Wheein froze and Byulyi turned to face her concern evident on her face. Was she really unaware of the way her words were affecting Wheein?

"What is it, are you hurt?"

She shook her head before pulling her arm away from the older girl's grip and continued walking in the direction of her classroom.

"Wheein, what's wrong?"

Wheein froze once more before turning slowly to face the older girl who had a sheepish expression on her face as her left hand clamped over the back of her neck, rubbing gently.

"How do you know my name?"

It was Byulyi's turn to freeze before she looked at the ground shyly, "Hyejin and I met a few days ago at dance and she mentions you a lot. That's why..."

"She mentions me?" Wheein asked incredulously.

"Yeah... I actually wanted to meet you for so long now, I just don't know how to approach you."

What?

Moon Byulyi wanted to approach her? But she didn't know how?

What the hell? What kind of parallel universe was this?

"Did Hyejin put you up to this? Because if she did, I swear -"

"In a way, she did." Byulyi confessed pushing her hair back again this time in a bit of frustration.

Wheein turned to face her, sizing her up and wondering if this was revenge for that time she accidentally (purposely) let slip that Hyejin was crushing on the tall boy from Wheein's afternoon class?

"But not in a bad way, I swear!" Byulyi exclaimed as she put up both her hands in surrender as she denied Wheein's unfinished sentence.

"I seriously wanted to meet you, honestly."

"How am I suppose to believe you when you tell me that Hyejin put you up to this? She's always playing pranks on me and she knows just how I feel-" she quickly stopped herself from continuing anymore and instead faced the taller girl properly as she waited for a response.

This was so surreal.

"Honestly, she's always talking about you and," Byulyi looked down before facing Wheein with a slightly nervous look in her eyes and Wheein's eyebrows furrow, "I think I might like you, somehow..."

What?! Did the Moon Byulyi just say she liked me?! Am I going crazy?!

"That's why I never had the guts to actually speak to you, even when Hyejin-ah would reassure me and tell me that I wouldn't have to worry about it but - I'm suddenly worrying..."

Wheein's facade dissolved completely as Byulyi's word finally sunk in.

Aish~ that Hyejin-ah~ Wheein thought finally feeling thankful towards her best friend.

"It's okay. I actually wanted to meet also..." Wheein confessed, "I never actually knew how to approach you since you're always with Yongsun unnie or with your other friend's."

"I know I never could get away from them for just a couple of moments and even if I could and I'd find you... I wouldn't have known what to say..."

Wheein smiled feeling more comfortable as she smirked at a sudden thought.

"Guess I'm falling for you, would suffice."

Byulyi smiled before laughing softly as she remembered their fated encounter, "I guess I am."

Wheein smiled before turning around and facing the closed door of her classroom suddenly all thoughts of the exam flying out of her mind before she turned to face Byulyi.

"Me too... would you like to go somewhere else?"

Byulyi stared at her momentarily before her eyes fell towards the hopefully smile upon Wheein's lips and she nodded.

"Coffee?"

"Coffee."
