Chanyeol's POV

I half-pulled, half-dragged her out of the house and into the car. As much as I wanted her to just cry her heart out, we need to leave as soon as possible. They can't catch her. Everything will be over if they do.

[Flashback]

"Chanyeol... How loyal are you to Soojung?" Seunghyun hyung said.

"I'll give my life for her." I bravely answered.

"Why?" That question took me by surprise. All I know, I need to protect her. It's my duty to do so but recently I've been asking that question myself.

"The proper answer would be because I'm her protector and it's my duty... but there's something about her I couldn't decipher that makes me want to protect her... I- I- I want to see her smile... and be happy." I do not know where those words came from but I know this time, those words didn't come from my mind.

"Good answer." Hyung replied with a smile. "Listen to me, Chanyeol. The council will come any moment from now and they will take Master away."

"Why? Did something happen?"

"They are blaming him for the death of his own son."

"Young Master is dead?"

"It seems to be but Master believes otherwise. He can't feel Mark's presence but he can't say that he's gone."

"What do we have to do?"

"You have to go to Seoul. And find the angel of light." He seriously said.
