Mark's POV

"I need you to be honest to me about something." I said to Appa. It was just the two of us in his study room.

"What is it, son?" He asked rather cheerfully while taking a sip of his wine.

"Can you tell me about Soojung's mother?"

"Her mother? Why suddenly ask?"

"Just tell me." I insisted.

"I met her when I worked as a teacher. She was my student then. I kinda flirted which was totally my thing. She fell for it. We dated and you know the rest. When Soojung was born, she gave her to me and she left. End of story."

There was a moment of silence before I continued.

"I told you to be honest with me, Appa. Don't make me force it out of you."

"I don't understand, Mark. Where is this coming from?"

"Tell me!" I said as I stood up from my seat and grabbed my father's collar. My father was surprised with my action but he just stared at me. "Make me understand, Appa. I'm going crazy."

"Understand what?"

"Make me understand why Soojung has the ability to heal people." And with that, Appa lost his grip on the glass he was holding. He was a bit nervous but quickly regained his composure.

"You can't tell anyone about this, Mark. Make Soojung forget she did that. I'll work on the papers faster so that you both can move to Seoul for your assignments. You got it?"

I just nodded and loosened my grip on my father's collar. He sighed and slumped to his seat.

"Appa, Soojung's mother..."

"Yes, she is."

Krystal's POV

I woke up feeling rather tired. And the funny thing was I couldn't recall what I did last night. I quickly ignored it and prepared for school immediately. I went down to find only Seunghyun oppa cooking breakfast.

"Good morning, Oppa. Where are they?"
