Remembering that in her head for the nth time, Joohyun couldn’t focus on the class at hand.

“Joohyun-ssi. The class hasn’t ended yet.” With furrowed brows, her professor looked at her with confusion and a mix of disappointment with her actions.

“I’m not feeling well today, professor. Is it okay if I go home first?” Her grip was already tightening on the strap of her bag.

Her professor raised a brow at the request and pursed his lips for a moment before placing his book and glasses to the table. “This is a first time for you to do this. Before, even when you looked so pale and you looked like you’re dying, you still finished the class. I don’t think this is a simple ‘not-feeling-well’ situation.” He walked towards the door and opened it before going back to the board, getting ready to write something. “At least finish this part and you can all go home.” His hand started to move across the board, the sound of chalk filling the whole room.
