Yongsun and Byul think they are so subtle about their PDA. They are not.

It’s probably the adrenaline and fatigue but more likely it’s the fact that she’s probably about to die and this is the last sight she’s ever going to see. Which is why Byul finds herself saying, “At least you’re beautiful.” Yongsun’s eyes grow wide. There’s been something different about Byul these last few weeks. She’s been carrying herself differently, and it takes a while for Yong to pin it down. It’s that spark of something she caught months ago, except now it’s not really a spark anymore. It’s a supernova. || or, Byul's biggest Second World supporter has always been Yong.

To be perfectly, transparently, and unmistakably honest, Byul never saw herself working in the hospitality industry. So how she ended up exactly there was still a mystery to her to this day. || or, a brand new MMM vampire AU that is TOTALLY UNRELATED to All Seoul's Street.

“Soon you’ll be off to University, and then you can also take an exchange program in the West, improve that English of yours.” She has that faraway look in her eyes again, the one she always gets when she talks about the idea of Yong’s future she’s had formed ever since she gave birth to her second daughter.  Yong just smiles. “Yeah,” she says quietly. || or, ANOTHER moonsun HS au based on their Better photos

The hand at her back slides off, and that’s a little painful too. Byul is awake. They lie there in silence for a while, neither of them talking, but both knowing that the other is awake. Yong contemplates pretending to go back to sleep, but that’s the coward’s way out. Instead, she shifts to lie on her back and rolls her head to the side. Byul is already looking at her, expression blank. || or, Byul and Yong aren't soulmates, but they don't care.

Watching Yong perform was a little like having dual vision. Like a superimposed image. Mata Hari onstage, being beheaded and Yong, bone tired but still as passionate and excited as ever while she practiced her songs or rehearsed her lines or learned her dances for weeks and weeks and weeks. || or, moonsun on Mata Hari opening night

When they arrive at the apartment building, Seulgi and Yesol press the house number of their sister’s unit and wait for the telltale buzz that will let them into the building. Sometimes, Byul thinks, it would be easier if she loved Yong less. But that’s the thought that hurts the most, more than any of the others, because Byul doesn’t want to go back to how she and Yong used to be before they professed their feelings.
