AT LONG LAST, HERE IT IS!

sorry for the long wait, but really, the research on this one also took much longer than i thought it would. THAT BEING SAID. the few weeks i did spend researching will likely not even scratch the surface of historical accuracy or properly convey the rich history Korea has. So any and all discrepancies are my own fault and i'm really sorry for them.

the title is from Vienna Teng's masterpiece of a song 'Gravity' which i definitely listened to on loop more than once while writing and you should definitely give it a listen too!

Since this is a spinoff you don't need to read All Seoul's Street to understand what's happening here, but for my All Seoul's readers, there are certainly quite a few easter eggs here that you can watch out for ;)

For any historians out there, here are some of the historical touch points hinted at throughout the fic:

1240 - Mongol invasions throughout most of Goryeo
1388 - Yi Seong-gye was sent to invade the Ming dynasty at Liaodong, but he turned his forces around and defeated Choe Yeong in a coup d'état, thus leading to the Fall of Goryeo
1446 - The Hunminjeongeum (what is now Hangul) was published and promulgated to the public.
1597 - The Chongyu war, the Japanese decide to make their final stand in the southern coastal regions of the country.
1895 - Empress Myeongseong is assassinated by Japanese agents
1902 - Hyŏpyul-sa, the first Korean indoor musical theater is opened
