She was just about to roll down the window when two things dawned on her at the same time: The first was that this woman was an employee at the same tour agency her sister was currently interviewing for if the logo on the vest she was wearing was any indication. But second, and arguably more important than the first, Byul realized that this other woman actually had no idea she could see her. || or, a Moonsun meet-cute fic  

It’s probably the adrenaline and fatigue but more likely it’s the fact that she’s probably about to die and this is the last sight she’s ever going to see. Which is why Byul finds herself saying, “At least you’re beautiful.” Yongsun’s eyes grow wide. There’s been something different about Byul these last few weeks. She’s been carrying herself differently, and it takes a while for Yong to pin it down. The hand at her back slides off, and that’s a little painful too. Byul is awake. They lie there in silence for a while, neither of them talking, but both knowing that the other is awake. Yong contemplates pretending to go back to sleep, but that’s the coward’s way out. Instead, she shifts to lie on her back and rolls her head to the side. Byul is already looking at her, expression blank. || or, Byul and Yong aren't soulmates, but they don't care.

Watching Yong perform was a little like having dual vision. Like a superimposed image. When she wakes up the next day, it’s to a sudden bright stream of sunlight that ades their room. When they arrive at the apartment building, Seulgi and Yesol press the house number of their sister’s unit and wait for the telltale buzz that will let them into the building. Sometimes, Byul thinks, it would be easier if she loved Yong less.
