APPEARANCE : 

— Naturally wavy, dark brown colored hair. Light brown eyes, but is always wearing colored contact lenses (except for the days when he's acutally wearing his perscription glasses). Since becoming a trainee/idol, he colors his hair as often as instruscted by his coordinators. He has a beauty mark on the outside of his right bicep, hardly noticable if you aren't looking at it too closely. He has the "Panda Eye" look often used when refering to Tao's eyes. Often can be seen wearing black nail polish. Wouldn't wear make-up unless it's applied on him by his stylists cause tbh he doesn't even know where to begin with that stuff. Codi maintains a toned physique through religious excercise.

FASHION STYLE :

— Codi doesn't go out of his way to look like the "dressiest" idol, but he does enjoy thrifting. A lot of his closet/wardrobe comes straight out of thrift stores. His go-to is usually pants, a loose top or sweater,  outerwear along with vans, or converse. That's not to say he doesn't wear a pair of doc martens every once in a while, because he does. He's an avid doc martens collector.

PERSONALITY : Codi has a life-long streak of thinking that he's never good enough and he even reached an all time low at his previous label. Being bashed, and bullied only strengthened in that belief in himself. It's one thing to have doubts but it's a whole other thing when you wake up and say to yourself, "I will never be enough". It's the type of thing that shatters you a little bit more each and every time the second somebody says anything negative about you. Codi swallows and internalizes all types of negativity like a sponge. He won't ever say what bothers him or what doesn't because he's just genuinely to terrified to speak up and stir up the mood. If somebody makes fun of him, he won't stand up for himself. Fortunately, that's why headphones are his best friend. He can tune everybody out, and only deal with his own thought of himself. 

Codi's always been withdrawn, moreso as a teen turning into an adult. He was a prime suspect for bullying unfortunately. But from all those experiences he's also learned what to look for. Everybody has their tell, and it's only a matter of time before the other party reveals their cards. Codi's learned to be a bit more careful with what he says and what he does. He makes sure to keep his private life to himself and to just keep things to himself. Nobody can make fun of what they don't know. Right?

Despite all of that, Codi is a quick learner. He picks up things after he's seen and analyzed it. He may not be a dancer but he can at least make it look decent and he'll work as long as he needs to in order to make sure he doesn't bring his group down. He knows what it's like to be kicked while you're down and he'd never want to bring that feeling to any of his brothers. Truly, he'd never felt so welcomed than when he joined Necalli. They accepted him for who he was, and helped in all sorts of ways to make him come out of his shell. He's loyal to them.

True, that he doesn't normally go out of his way for most, but with his necalli brothers, he'll try anything.

Codi is known to be an ice prince when he's on stage, but in reality his stone-like stature is from all the anxiety he takes up there. He can't really let all that tension go until he's gotten comfortable on stage which does happen pretty soon after his performance starts, cause we all know the hardest part is getting up there. However interviews are also very different. Codi is more reserved. He doesn't talk unless he's addressed to talk and when he does its usually very short and to the point; which is why the other members like to joke that he's so serious. In thier dorm he's usually more opened to conversations. I mean, considering he's also dating somebody like Kenna...there's got to be some warmth in his heart after all ^^

BACKGROUND : Codi Song was born via surrogate to his mother, Song Miyeon and father Song Jinseok in Honolulu, Hawaii. Codi's parents were hard working doctors past their prime by the time he came into the world. Miyeon and Jinseok met in med school (miyeon was 23 and jinseok was 25) and married eight years later when they finally made it into their residency. Engulfed in their careers, they'd put off being parents for a while longer, all the while having taken for granted that they'd be able to have children anytime they'd like. When Miyeon finally came around to the idea of having children, they tried for over a year as directed by a fertility specialist, but when it became futile, both Miyeon and Jinseok began testing to figure out what their next steps would be. Whilst they held hard on their hope, it waned quickly when their tests came back inconclusive.

Eager to have a family of their own, the two took the next steps into surrogacy where Mila Kwon came into the picture. A woman in her late twenties, who had served as a surrogate mother to at least three different familes. The process leading up to sealing the deal took at least half a year, but once the deal was struck all that was left was to get the show on the road.

Codi never really questioned how he came into the world. For all intensts and purposes, his parents were Jinseok and Miyeon, and that was 100% the truth. He was a very happy and intelliget child growing up, but if there was one thing that had always stuck with him, was that he was terribly reserved. He didn't go out of his way to make friends and he didn't mind being on his own. What comforted him most was poetry and spoken word.

Codi ended up joining the choir despite having little to no vocal ability in the first place, but it did help him by the time he switched out to marching band (and later, when he became a trainee). He enjoyed percussion much more than singing anyway. He learned to play piano, xylophone, marimba, snare, and vibraphones that helped him create his own melodies. After competing and placing regionally, he was honored and asked to compose a piece of music to perform. He was scouted by several universities around America, where he had gently declined in order to follow his true passions. He had put together several poems to perform as spoken word. It wasn't an easy feat for him as he was naturally very timid, and had very severe stage fright, but he pictured himself on the stage alongside his fellow band members. He was truly at peace when he was playing his instrument. Codi made it work by looking at his voice in a different perspective; as his instrument. He began with spoken word which soon turned into his own rap style. 

Not only was he impressing his classmates now, but his parents had even caught wind of their son's talent. They had encouraged him to audition for entertainment companies as they'd seen how much he loved it, but it was a matter of whether he'd end up actually going or not. It was completely up to him and whether he would be brave enough to face his fear head on.

Park Duri has been a friend to the family residing in Seoul. When Codi decided to come to Seoul for his new career as a trainee, his parents entrusted him to Duri. Of course, Duri wasn't Codi's parents, and he'd never be; that was made clear from day one. However, Duri was commited to having Codi's back, and he'd go out of his way to do so, no matter what. He makes it a point to call Codi every couple hours to ask how its going, and Codi...unwillingly answers each and every one. He plays Duri off as the annoying uncle but he actually really loves and appreciates Duri.

Codi met Dylan as a trainee in pledis. They had similar personalities and just ended up hitting it off really well. They found a very deep comfort in their similarities and although their schedules look pretty different from one anothers, they do make it a point to make time to catch up with each other over coffee or food.

They're like his second family, the ones who accept him for who he is and isn't. The reason that he's able to get up onto stage in the first place is because his team mates are so damn insane, that they give him the strength to push through all the hardships in the first place. TRAINEE LIFE  : 

— Codi's time at pledis was short lived. He was not comfortable, and honestly, the worst experience he had to date. He was avidly bullied by other trainees and whenever it was reported to staff, everybody involved recieved a scolding. What's more, scoldings involving him were blamed on him because they assumed he was the rat; the skinny tattletale. It made him out to be a trainee nobody wanted to work alongside. It weighed on him both day and night, and he almost decided to quit entirely until his he had a long conversation with Dylan that sort of flipped his switch. It was just his luck that around the same time another agency was looking for his talent. It took a while before he was able to switch over to Sunlight Ent. But when he did, he was well surprised.

It was nothing like pledis and he dind't even have a sure rate at debut and truthfully his confidence was at an all time low coming from pledis but he'd still taken his chances.

Codi was able to hone his abilities to the max at Sunlight without any bullying or interruptions.

That hadn't happened to me in a hot second. ANYWAY, I'm working on Kenna, and she's going to have a lot of Siri in her, so do look forward to that lol. ^^

SUGGESTION(S) : So since he's kind of different on & off stage, it would be funny if they had an interview(s) where they always just call out Codi for being cute off stage but a total ice prince on stage. It's where he clarifies that he deals with really bad anxiety and has stage fright.
