PERSONALITY:

phuc is kind of slow. his tribe doesn't have school so he isn't skilled in science or math, he will shamelessly say "i have no idea what you're talking about but you look cute talking so much." he thinks he's wiser than he is. half of the time what he says doesn't make sense but sometimes its really helpful and deep and everyone is just staring at him in awe. he actually can be wise because of the things he learned from huu and his father, especially huu that taught him about appreciating nature and that everyone is one. but he isn't afraid to ask questions when he doesn't know a word or anything.

he is a naturally flirty person. he's comfortable doing skinship with other people and is a smooth talker, well he thinks he's smooth. he likes to give others compliments and be really cheesy with his flirtatious ways. he likes all women, as long as you're a girl you're subject to his flirting. if he wants something he'll keep trying until he gets it. he doesn't focus well though so he jumps from one thing to another like with relationships. but when he wants someon he keeps going after them until they like him, even if they end up hating him in the end he'll still give them a wink.

even though he's basically the best hunter in his tribe, he can be really clumsy and forgetful, especially with the things his parents taught him that aren't action related. when plantbending he might hit you like a vine by accident or lose balance all by hismelf when trying to water glide. but he always tries to be smooth after (like this). he's really a lot cooler in his head than he comes off. in his mind he's the smoothest and coolest person thats a flirt machine and chick magnet but girls outside his tribe actually fall for him because he's a cute goofy mess. he swears hes y though.

phuc doesn't care waht others think. he knows he looks good and will proudly lounge around shirtless. he never doubts his abilities which is why he can be so playful and not stress. he doesn't mind making a fool out of himself just for laughs, anything to get a good reaction out of people. sometimes he can be an attention seeker. he's the king of dad jokes and cheesy pick up lines. he likes to play around and make fun of his friends and annoy them on purpose. he thinks people shouldn't take life so seriously and have fun since we only live once so he purposely annoys the more serious members.

phuc marches to his own drumbeat. he doesn't plan much of anything and goes with the flow, even if there is a plan he will probably get distracted and divert from it just because he feels like it. he's willing to jump into things head first and take risks without thinking about how his actions will affect him. usually these aren't bad actions, its things that he thinks will help those around him or himself. due to his unpredictablility he can be irresponsible and do things he knows he shouldn't just because he wants to. he can be stubborn in this way, if he wants to do something then he'll probably do it and deal with the consequences later. he forgets things easily as well even minutes after hearing what was said. sometimes he encourages bad behavior that he know will get them in trouble just because its fun. deal with consequences later.

but since he's such a praised hunter in his tribe he is spoiled and can be selfish. when people don't treat him like he's the best or like they do in his tribe he gets actually surprised. sometimes even going as far as throwing a tantrum but its rare. but he doesn't get upset easily, his confidence makes him stubborn to believing he isn't the best.  even when he gets criticism he takes it with a grain of salt but getting defeated for the first time would be a big bruise to his pride. don't be fooled though, just because he likes waterbending and fighting doesn't mean he wants to hurt people. he's never killed anyone before and doesn't want to either, he's a huge believer of peace and would prefer to settle a dispute without killing anyone. but something that would tick him off instantly is disrespecting his friends or family, he'll fight quick. he's a big believer of loyalty to family, basically anyone in the watertribe he considers family.

BACKGROUND: 

phuc was born in the foggy swamp. he lived an easy life, he came from an ordinary family in the village but was born an exceptional waterbender. his dad is a bender unlike his mom but his skills outweighed his fathers from the age of seven. huu took him under his wing as his teacher and taught him all he knows. it was a struggle to get him to concentrate for more than ten minutes but after years of training huu can proudly say he's as good as him, maybe even better.

whenever they went hunting phuc was one of the front men onboard. there isn't much structure in their tribe but phuc is considered one of the important hunters who protect the swamp. he learned about the tree's abilities from huu and is the only other person in the tribe who can plantbend so they take turns guarding the swamp by creating the swamp monster. huu's version of the swamp monster is more serious and threatening while phuc tends to be playful like trapping you in the vines like a puppet just to make you dance like an idiot.

when it comes to the ladies, phuc is the biggest ladies man in the foggy swamp. girls swoon over his skills and his good looks and he eats it up letting it all go straight to his head. he has a harem of girls to his disposal who somehow don't mind being in a harem and they pamper him like a prince. in his tribe he's on top of the world.

bo is the herbalism expert in the village. he knows what plants are best for what illness and what can or can't be eaten. his water bending his weak but he has the ability to get water from plants and use it as medicine. he is proud of his son for being such a good hunter but he doesn't want it getting to his head. when they go hunting together bo is in charge of herbalism, he taught phuc a lot but the amount of information that he actually attained is unknown. he just wants to fight and waterbend instead which makes bo sigh sometimes because herbalism is important too. even when ryu is cooking he tells phuc to watch so he can do it himself if anything were ever to happen but he doesn't listen. sometimes he's too hard on phuc and they argue because of it. he would be proud of his son for going with the avatar but really worried.

ryu is a nonbender and one of the cooks for the village. she makes a mean possum chicken stew. she's really lenient with phuc and thinks her husband is too harsh and strict on him.  usually ryu is the one to calm bo down from his constant thoughts of possible danger. she spoils both her sons a lot and calls phuc her little warrior and loves pinching his cheeks.

thue wants to be just like his brother, a fierce hunter but sadly he can't waterbend. ryu tells him to learn how to cook like her instead but he refuses saying that someday he'll be the greatest warrior ever like phuc! he play fights with phuc all the time, he finds it fun when phuc waterbends him and he tries to attack him back with a stick. he's a brave kid, anytime someone has a problem with them he's the first to stand up and try to defend them eventhough he's tiny and can't do much. when phuc leaves he promised his brother to learn about swordsmanship so he can come back and teach him.

☘️ master - huu (??) / unofficial leader of the tribe / wise, calculating, friendly  / 9/10   
phuc has been training with master huu since he was little. he knows phuc's strengths and weaknesses as a bender and is always trying to help him improve. he takes practice and hunting seriously as the leader, sometimes he wishes phuc wasn't so goofy all the time. he would be proud to see him go with the avatar and represent the swamp tribe that many people don't even know exist.

due is huu's not so smart right hand man. he's a really good waterbender though. his personality is similar to phuc so they get along well and crack jokes together while huu and bo are more serious. due says questionable and dumb things all the time that only phuc seems to understand because they're on the same wavelength. it can be tiring for huu to deal with so much stupid at one time but that's his family so he loves them anyways and wouldn't change a thing.

☘️  phuc's tribe is pretty small, there aren't many people so polygamy isn't weird especially if theres more girls than guys. since phuc is such a good hunter it makes him more attractive to the girls in his tribe while other guys envy him. he already has a group of fangirls that are hoping to be his wife someday. they cheer on everything he does and dotes on him like maids. the main three ones are:

☘️ chi (17) / nonbender, cook / bossy, possessive, smart / 8/10 [gidle yuqi]
chi is the leader of the pack, she's the smartest of all and knows phuc the best. she tells the other girls what to do and gets upset when they fail at making him happy or comfortable. for example when kae fails to get a certain kind of berries for chi's famous swamp berry smoothie she would knock the other fruit out her hand and scream at her making kae cry as she picks off the fruit off the floor. she might be harsh to the other girls but this tough love is all to make phuc satisfied. she thinks being this way would make her his first wife, meaning she's the main one. she never had to deal with other girls coming into the village but if they did she would definitely be pissed off and intimidating towards them.   

☘️ hua (16) / hunter / loud, clingy, bipolar / 7/10 [gidle shuhua]
hua is like chi's side kick, she agrees with everything she says and follows her close along because she wants to be phuc's second wife. she doesn't really have her own opinions. she's the most clingy to phuc, everytime she sees him she's the first to scream his name and run over. her mood changes really fast, one minute she's happy and screaming and the next minute she's upset and pouty because she didn't get enough attention. if other girls come into the village she'll probably be the first to try and fight them. she goes hunting with the guys since she's a strong bender and clings to phuc's side the whole time, a little annoying but he appreciates the attention. they practice bending together.

☘️ kae (15) / healer / shy, shallow, emotional / 5/10 [everglow yiren]
kae is the youngest in the harem so she gets bossed around a lot. she's the most shy of them all and won't talk to phuc unless he talks to her first. she isn't as greedy for attention as some of the other girls, she gets shy and flustered whenever he's around or gives her even a little attention. she's a waterbender but very weak compared to the others. she prefers to heal instead of fight with her bending and her mom is a herbalist so she knows a lot about plants and such. he wants to get closer to her since he finds her pretty but chi and hua make it hard.

☘️ pet catgator - tark / friendly, loving
tark means darkness in inuit. he named him tark because he's dark and its hard to see him since he blends in with the swamp. phuc had tark as a pet since he was little, when he was  5 he accidentally stepped on baby tark's tail and felt bad so he took him home. since then they grew up together. he might look scary but tark is really friendly and loves people after learning that they're not dangerous of course. when phuc or any of the people he likes are in danger he's quick to protect them. phuc rides tark and does tricks on him to protect the ladies. the girls in the village adore tark too since he's so adorable. 

☘️ pet glowfly - guang / obedient, useful
guang means light in chinese. he named him guang because he lights up. guang is a small fly that can't be seen but he follows phuc everywhere. he knows when it's guang specifically because whenever phuc says "guang light up" guang instantly shines a bright light for him. sometimes he just says it to make sure he's there when he can't see him.

LAST COMMENT: hi! i hope this makes sense, i kind of got inspired by sokka lol. i rushed it since i wanted to finish it before i have a bunch of homework to do tbh i think this was the fastest app ive ever done. if theres any changes that needs to be made i'll be happy to fix it, for some reason i feel like its lacking depth but lmk what you think. btw i already have an idea for 2 more characters coming sometime in the near future!

SCENE SUGGESTION: 

☘️ phuc being cheesy and flirting with every pretty girl he sees
☘️ he accidentally flirts with someone taken and that gets him into trouble
☘️ if they go to the water tribe after meeting him i can totally see the old aunties and grandmas swooning over him for some reason lol
☘️ phuc realizes he's not the best waterbender around and actually bows down to someone asking them to teach him
☘️ he pranks the wrong person and it gets them in trouble

PASSWORD: can you matchmake my lil idiot pls *^* since getting girls in his tribe is really easy i see him falling for someone that isnt affected by his charms at all and maybe finds him annoying? later on she falls for him after A LOT of effort. or you can just pair him with whoever you ship him with. or maybe he goes back to the swamp and chooses kae. tis up to you.
