2003: Esther was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. Her dad was in the army so she lived on the base with other military families. Her mom was a stay-at-home mom, she spent her days at the beach and playing with the other kids. She was already a strong swimmer that was unafraid of water by 2 and she learned how to surf at 3. She loved living in Hawaii and had many friends but it didn't last long.
2008: When she turned 5 her family moved to Pyeongtaek to live in Camp Humphreys, she didn't want to go but they didn't have a choice because her dad got stationed there. Her Korean was terrible and since she went to an international school she didn't improve much. She was still young so making friends wasn't hard. She discovered Kpop while there because the military kids put on a performance for the base and her grade did a mashup dance of popular songs that year including gee, sorry sorry, hot issue, abracadabra, again & again, mister, and genie. She realized her interest in dance but living in Korea only lasted two years until she was up and out again.
2010: The next destination was Livorno in Italy. Living in the coast reminded her a lot of Honolulu and she picked up some of her older hobbies. She didn't speak Italian so she struggled to make friends in school until she met Kaden who also came from a military family. It was the first time since Honolulu that she had such a close friend, even their families became good friends. They spent almost all their time together. She was on the swim team, dance team, choir and joined the school musical a few times. She learned that she had a beautiful voice then but didn't take singing very seriously. Just like all her other hobbies it was just something she enjoyed doing. Esther didn't want to leave Italy. The food, the beaches, the people was all amazing. But after 4 years her dad was given the news again. She begged and pleaded not to leave but her dad couldn't do anything about it.

Esther's mom reached out to her friends for help and they recommended boarding school. It wasn't ideal but it would at least give her some stability even though she wouldn't be with them anymore.
2016: Her parents enrolled her to St Peter's Lutheran College in Brisbane Australia as recommended by her moms friend. At first she wasn't looking forward to it until she learned that Kaden went there. It was hard and costly to be boarding at 13 and she had many moments of missing her parents but she liked having a home and had many friends. Kaden was always there for her anyways and during every break she went to wherever her dad was stationed to be with her parents. They could already see the difference in happiness in her. She even loved having a roommates and kept the same roommate until she graduated.
Esther thrived being with her best friend again. She was happy and went back to her old self. Her extracurriculars were always packed, she found herself on the swim team, musicals, dance team, choir and in the school band at some point in her time there.

She was really surprised but Kaden everyone else knew already. Her parents thought it was a little early but they loved Kaden like their own and supported their relationship. Of course she said yes and not only were they engaged but they also both got accepted into the University of Sydney. She spent half the summer with his family and the other half with her own. Their parents both pitched in to get them an apartment in Sydney near school and by August they moved in.

After Esther had to go home and sleep in the bed that they shared, she couldn't even sleep just cried.

She had no expectations except for the fact that everyone must be extremely talented and she would be the odd one out. But it didn’t turn out that way at all, it turns out she actually had some talent and was pretty good at singing and dancing compared to the other trainees. Her experience and cover groups helped her develop some kind of stage presence as well so she didn’t have much work to do. Did she stand out a lot? No. But she was well rounded enough to be safe from any elimination.
The strict rules took her by surprise though and even in only a few months she thought about quitting but the thought of Kaden watching over her gave her strength to keep going. Making friends wasn’t the easiest with her limited Korean, it was hard to get close to anyone on a deep level. But she had a good relationship with anybody she came across and studied like crazy. After hearing other peoples stories she was almost certain that it will take a few years for her to even see the stage, by then she will probably end up too old to even see the stage. But to her luck she got thrown into the Cherrubliss in only a few months.
