siha is that one kid in elementary school that gets his hand glued to his face. That basically describes his whole personality. he's a fun loving boy who just wants to have a good time and for everyone to be happy. It's like he has a never ending timer full of energy. Even when he's exhausted from practicing or performing he still has a smile on his face at the end. he is a strong believer of doing what you love and finds the joy in every little thing. he is probably the least judgemental person you could ever meet. You can literally pick your nose in front of his and he wouldn't even mind, because who doesn't do a little digging for gold once in a while.
Being the extrovert that he is, he loves making new friends and being around people. he can start a conversation with anyone, even the homeless person near the subway. he loves learning new things and will ask an endless amount of questions to the point where its almost annoying and invading your privacy but he's just curious ok don't be mean ;;
Many people might find his annoying at first but once they get to know his they'll learn that he's actually just a child at heart!. he's just hella nosy and doesn't even realize that he's annoying people. he will believe anything you tell him. if you say the sky is green then he must be color blind cuz apparently the sky is green! that's how much he trusts people. If you're his friend, which he considers anyone that he said hi to at least 3 times a friend, then he'll care for you no matter what and defend you if you need it.
With all this childlike energy, he can actually be kind of wild too. Like they say, curiosity killed the cat, and he's felt the backfire of his curious nature more than once. Sometimes he gets in trouble with their manager for randomly disappearing and talking to new people or touching things he's not supposed to. he's always down for a random adventure and will gladly drag his friends with him.
When on shows, its clear that he has a short attention span because sometimes instead of paying attention he'll be spinning on his chair having the time of his life all by himself or bother s instead by squishing their . But when theres a challenege or an activity taking place, he's the first to jump in and participate even if he knows he'll fail because yolo. his loud, dramatic and over the top ways are both a good and bad thing during broadcast, its interesting to watch his dynamics with the hosts but some people might find it annoying.
But such a bubbly and innocent personality also has its bad side. Siha is an open book and he thinks that naturally other people are too, but this obviously isnt the case. he has nothing to hide and will answer you truthfully no matter what the question is. But his constant blabbing actually leads his to reveal others secrets as well and he'll usually quickly cover his mouth with his hand once he realizes what he did. he's also blunt and will tell you the honest truth but will somehow sugarcoat it at the end so it doesn't sound as bad. if you ask his how you look today knowing you don't look as good as usual, he'll probably say your face is bloated and you kind of look ugly, but its ok! beauty is in the eye of the beeholder! Sometimes his honesty can hurt but its better than lying!!
he's also a big crybaby. he cries hella fast but then gets over it quickly once he gets distracted by soemthing. like cake! he loves strawberry short cake! he would always be there for his friends and family when they're sad, but usually his advice is straightforward instead of empathetic.
he can be explosive, especially when people mess with his friends. he's quick to stand up in front of someone and defend his close ones, usually speaking loudly with his country accent or letting out a high pitched "YAAA!!" he isn't passive and will speak up if he disagrees with something but won't be rude about it. he usually doesn't hold a gudge so he gets over anger quickly and is quick to forgive others. even when he's sad he gets over it relatively fast.
Overall, siha is a bright boy who honestly just trying his best to spread happiness and rainbows in this cruel world.

the first thing people notice about siha is his cute small face and big eyes that make him look like a puppy. he has slightly feminine features which makes him pretty. he's slim and average height but he'll still kick your :) currently his hair color is brown.

[ elaboration ] siha was born as the youngest child and only son of the koo family on a bright sunny day. his parents koo sangmin and ha siyeon were happy he was born. they originally only wanted two kids, a boy and a girl but they were willing to keep trying for a boy and they were lucky they only ended up with two girls instead of five before having siha. he was born into a musical family, his mom was a singing major in college but wounded up being an elementary school teacher while his dad was a music teacher at a local high school. his parents met through mutual friends and formed their own indie band but it soon came to a quits when their oldest daughter sihyun was born.
all their talent passed onto their kids, sihyun had the prettiest voice out of all three of them, siyoung could play many instruments and was especially gifted in the violin, and siha was a dancer. he actually got that talent from his grandma who was a ballet dancer. from a young age siha was dancing around the house. he was the only boy with two older sister who just adored him so he got spoiled. they also used him as a doll at the same time, dressing him up and putting makeup on him. they loved playing with him like that since he was such a pretty kid. it would bother most boys to be dressed as cinderlla and run around in the backyard but siha didn't care he liked spending time with his siters since they were such a close family.
from the age of 5 siha was in ballet classes. his mom saw he had a talent for dancing and wanted him to get real training. he was the only boy in the class but was happy to be dancing. he got made fun of by the other boys in the neighborhood that called him twinkle toes but he always told them that someday they'll see him on tv and they won't be laughing anymore! jihoon always beat them up for him after that anyways. jihoon was his neighbor and best friend since childhood. by 8 he joined a dance academy instead where he was trained in all types of styles of dance.
siha cared a lot more about dance than school, he was last in his class almost every single year. instead of concentrating he would try to come up with choreography in his seat or talk to his friends. he wasn't insanely popular but he had a good amount of friends, just a regular kid that blended in.
siha didn't really have a plan for the future he just knew he loved dancing and it was something he wanted to do for the rest of his life. even if he had to dance outside in a chicken costume holding a sign he would still be happy. the only reason he got into yg was through his dance academy, natajara academy. yg would go there and scout for trainees sometimes, thats how jihoon got scouted and a few years later the same happened to siha. he was taking a dance class with a strange man watching through the window and after class he pulled siha and a few others aside to audition the next day.
siha actually performed his own choreography that he's been working on, it was only half way done but so didn't get any sleep and finished it that night. he slept all day during school and went back to narajara academy to audition and he got in that same day. he actually didn't have to sing, his dancing was enough to get him a spot.
his whole family was so proud of him and they ate grilled pork belly that night, his favorite. only a week later he was off to seoul. saying goodbye to his family was hard but his dream of dancing was finally coming true and he wouldn't let it slip away.

sihyun and siyoung are sians older sisters! sihyun owns a small cafe in busan. that spot becomes popular when blackout debuts because she puts pictures of them all over and they signed it too. siyoung works at her sisters cafe and they bicker like crazy!!!! like full on hair pulling! sihyun tries to act perfect and siyoung brings her back to reality by making fun of her. but whenever siha is around they get along to baby him. not actually but they do baby him. sihyun treats siha like he's 5 while siyoung is more mean to him. she makes fun and bullies him but still babies him at the same time. sh all together they're a whole mess and its so loud ;;。 / fc: kim yoohyeon & lee luda

jihoon and siha were neighbors and childhood friends. since siha only had sisters and jihoon has an older brother, hanging out with him was an escape from getting his hair braided and treated like a walking doll. they were in the same dance academy together, nataraja academy. jihoon got casted for yg through that dance academy in 2016 but siha missed it because he got food poisoning that day. nonetheless they still talked, and now that siha is in yg too they hang out everyday again like they used to. once blackout debuts their managers try to keep them away from each other because they get too many complaints from other staff that they're too loud, but they always find each other somehow! Screaming for no reason? Check. Loud laughing? Check. Running around? Check. Pranks? Check. They're like two little kids without parental supervision. jihoon and sian instantly cling together when they see each other and they become inseperable. especially during training, the pair was never seen somewhere without the other. If siha is missing, jihoon is probably with him and they're probably doing something stupid. but jihoon is actually really protective over siha and is always there for him when he's going through a hard time. jihoon has an idea that siha is gay because he never talks about girls and the way siha looks at kyubong is sus but he supports him anyways cuz thats his lil bro!!! but seriously siha really looks up to jihoon and thinks he looks really cool on stage and wants to be cool like him.

yeojin and siha are classmates and they used to sit next to each other until siha got moved to the front of the class for "being disruptive". when he first went to hanlim he knew she looked familiar but didn't know from where, he actually thought he went to his school or something. he didn't know she was an idol and she hated him since then because she was offended. even though she knew loona wasn't popular in korea it still hurt. sooo to make her unhate him he went to school extra early and wrote stan loona on the chalkboard in front of the classroom and when he came in the room he played their song butterfly and danced it in front of everyone then passed around a copy of the album to everyone in the class. she was really embarrassed but appreciated it and they've been friends since that day!
[fun fact: he actually bought 50 copies of the album and passed them around to random strangers, all of treasure, and the blackout members. and kept one for himself of course. all 50 of those albums also cost him his whole allowance for that month ;;]
now yeojin and siha are besties that argue like an old married couple, they diss each other like crazy, esp yeojin, but they love each other too and support each other a lot. they have matching clothes, do facemasks together, she paints his nails, he's like a gay bestfriend that doesn't know he's gay yet. tbh it wasn't far off from what his sisters did to him when he was younger so he didn't mind. sometimes siha can be mean by accident and bc girls be extra sensitive for a whole week every month yeojin ignores him so he does something dramatic like show up to loona's dorm with her favorite food to make up for it. this happens like every month. everyone thinks they're dating and they srsly at like a couple but everytime someone brings it up they're both like ewwwwwww and make vomit sounds. yeojin knows siha is gay because a best friend always knows but he doesn't know that he knows. he's not her type anyways, he likes someone muscular and y like kyubong.
chuu and siha know each other through yeojin and hes positive that they're dating no matter how much the two deny it. so everytime siha is around he's becomes a protective unnie bc no one can touch their maknae! she's like a ninja just popping up everywhere and watching them to make sure siha isn't trying to make a move. siha is kind of scared of her because she screams a lot and threatens him on the daily.

siha met yedam through jihoon after joining yg. he was a fan of yedam already i mean who doesn't know him he was the most famous yg trainee. everytime they had a monthly evaluation, sian would be there clapping like crazy after yedam performed. hes the one that inspired sian to start writing songs and thats how they got close. well kind of. yedam talks to siha just to be nice but he actually isn't such a big fan. he's especially salty because siha debuted before him when he wasn't even ready. but to siha yedam is someone he looks up to. when siha wants to show yedam one of his songs he listens to it and says it great to his face but then trashes the song behind his back. siha waves at yedam whenever he seems him or clings to his arm and yedam tries to stay far away from siha if he can and casually removes his arm from his hold. but sian swears that they're best friends and yedam loves him.

siha loooves umma hyung and its the same vice versa, he treats siha like a whole baby. if you mess with or touch his son then he'll have your head and its the same for siha too. he's like hanuel's little cheerleader always being extra loud and amazed whenever he does something, even if its minor. hanuel actually has a lot of respect for siha because even though he's a whole mess, he's tries really hard and is a hardworker. whenever siha has writes a new song the first person he runs to is haneul just to get validation from him. whenever haneul is crying siha runs to comfort him the best he can. even though he's not much help most of the time sinc ehe just ends up crying too. but he gives good hugs and they watch a kdrama tgt instead!! even though siha has his own bed he likes to cuddle with haneul and casually sneak onto his bed at night. as for his uality, haneul been knew he was gay, he can just tell. especially by how touchy siha is. and when he finally realizes it, haneul becomes someone siha could confide in about that.

Siha thinks sion is the coolest appa hyung ever. He calls them twinsies because they have similar names even though thats literally all they have in common. He gets amazed at every little thing he does and tries to copy him a lot. If sion gets a new piercing then best believe that siha would want one too. But he’ll probably chicken out bc ouchie. Siha really appreciates sion because he’s never mean to him, even when he’a being annoying. Sometimes siha can ask one too many questions with an endless number of why’s after each question but sion never loses his cool!! Siha would literally cling to his leg like a monkey as he walks and he still wouldn’t get upset. He just makes siha’s life in blackout easier and and he lubs him. Or or he packs a lunchbox for him for school and snacks when they have schedules since siha is always hungry. The only thing he hates is that he smokes bc smoking leads to lung cancer and lung cancer leads to death. he secretly cried when he caught him smoking because google said that one cigarette takes 11 minutes away from someones life and siha doesn’t want him to die 11 minutes early :(

Siha wants jinseok to be his best friend but it isn’t going as planned. they go to the same school and even sit next to each other in class since siha got moved to the front because he was too chatty with yeojin. Every morning siha wakes jinseok up for school with a big smile but he gets a pillow to the face in response, and thats when he’s in a good mood. When jinseok is extra cranky siha would get pinned down on the bed in some type of wrestling move that leaves him wailing for help :( but he never gives up!!! The next day you best believe siha would be standing right there with a smile again! if anyone asks, jinseok is Siha’s best friend in blackout even though it looks the complete opposite. he does his homework too, which the older members don’t advise, but anything for his bestie! siha even bought them matching hoodies which jinseok refuses to wear but just the fact that they both have it in their closet makes him feel special. Half of the time jinseok would just make siha cry but friendship is nothing without its hardships right? Siha just wants them to sing the goofy goober song together while holding hands and sharing snacks and he won’t give up until he achieves that!
꘎♡━━━ zhang "buddha hyung" wei ━━♡꘎
Siha thinks Wei is a genius. He just stares at him in awe whenever he says something mildly wise that doesn’t really make sense. Siha actually thinks wei is the reincarnation of buddha and has magical powers because his eyes turn red and he gets suddenly really wise but he just doesn’t understand that he’s just high, let alone know what really is. siha takes Wei’s advice really seriously and is the first one to be meditating with him at the end of every month and clean the dorm with him. if wei says it then it must be true because uhh he’s basically buddha duh! the language barrier is the only thing stopping them from being closer because siha actually enjoys Wei’s company a lot and finds him fun. wei is actually the person he usually goes to for relationship advice because he seems so smooth. Someday when he gains enough courage, siha will use all the pickup lines that he learned from wei on kyubong hehe. They’re also cuddle buddies and siha is trying to learn how to break dance from him!

Ispy with my little eye… a baby!!! jiahao is the only other person in blackout/haven that’s younger than him and he refuses to miss the opportunity to baby him! Siha finds jiahao really cute even though his facial expression is blank a lot of the time. Seriously siha could be pinching his cheek telling him how cute he is and jiahao is just -_- but but that makes him even cuter! Siha clings to jiahao like there’s no tomorrow whenever blackout and haven are together and he gets so proud when jiahao speaks in interviews, even encouraging him to do so by telling him things to say in korean or teaching him cute things to do that fans would love to see from haven’s maknae. Whenever they’re together in public, siha demands to do heart arms with him. Stan cuties stan sihao!
꘎♡━━━ mitsuya "meansuya" tsuki ━━♡꘎
There are very few people in the world that siha actually dislikes and tsuki is one of those people. tsuki is mean to siha and it makes him :( everytime he's around he lets out a quiet sigh because he knows tsuki will say something mean or bother him. the only reason siha doesn’t dislike jinseok is because they’re together so much so he wants to Be close, but he doesn’t see tsuki all the time which gives him enough time to dislike him. jinseok’s insults are usually short and he walks away or just gives you a wedgie but tsuki is more of the humiliating kind of bully that’s really loud and boasts about it. they have their moments where they get along but it isn’t long before tsuki does something mischievous or down right mean to him. For example, they’re both dancers so they practiced together after dance class and siha mentioned just casually that kyubong looked extra hot in his shirt that day. But tsuki took it to a whole other level and made fun of him for being gay and has ever since that moment. Even saying inappropriate things that just leaves siha flustered when all he wants to do is give kyubong a big hug and a kiss on the cheek. Siha tries to hang out with him and jinseok sometimes but it never quite ends well for him. he’s still nice to tsuki though, except for when he annoys jiahao. Then thats when siha screams at him!!
꘎♡━━ Boo "noemul hyung" noeul ━━ ♡꘎
Siha calls noeul noemul because it sounds like monster which is goemul and noeul is scary :) it was multiple incidents that caused siha to conclude that noeul is some kind of monster. There are times where he acts like a zombie and just acts off in general which siha can’t understand why. but the main reason is because noeul lost his temper on siha one time when they were trainees and thats what basically scarred him since then. he has to admit that noeul is fun to be around sometimes but No matter how nice noeul acts now siha is still kind of scared of him and doesn’t fully trust him. He’s just really strange and changes often so he must be some kind of alien from another planet planning on eating his brain.
꘎♡━━━━━━━ choi junyeob ━━━━━━♡꘎
Siha is junyeob’s biggest fan… like actually he loves him. During his short time as a trainee, siha saw junyeob at one of the monthly evaluations and he felt like he was watching an actual idol perform. His stage presence and the way he rapped looked so cool he was left taken aback at the fact that he didn’t get praise from yang hyunsuk. siha doesn’t have the best stage presence and is always smiling like an idiot even when the song doesn’t call for it and junyeob was all that siha aspired to be. Every time junyeob is performing siha can’t help but look at him like 🤩😍🤯😳🥵😲 even after seeing it a bunch of times. actually.. even when he’s doing absolutely nothing he still looks at him like that. Siha is his biggest hype man and tells him how amazing he is at least 100 times a day and even tells others about how amazing he is, just pure infatuation. since junyeob isn’t a dancer, siha always volunteers to help him

siha trained for 3 months and he found training fun! being around all these talented people in the famous yg building and performing in front of yang hyun suk himself once a month while he just gives you a blank stare and tells you you didn't improve at all. it was great! siha joined yg has a dancer and that was all he knew how to do. he sang around the house and at ktv but it was never serious. the best thing about his vocals is that its really stable when he danced. his rapping was better than his singing but it didn't have that yg flare. it was his dancing skills that really kept him in blackout's final lineup. his moves were powerful and sharp, you can tell that he took his dancing seriously and loved what he did. the only problem was that he was always smiling like an idiot. his default face is a smile and it won't go away no matter how serious the song is. but yg found him cute and had a soft spot for the little fellow like many of the other staff members. even if his smile didn't fit sometimes they couldn't help but smirk and mumble cute under their breath. this favoritism led to other trainees being envious of him but even if they did he didn't realize and talked to them anyways. he was with jihoon most of the time when he wasn't with s so he was never lonely and didn't care if others disliked him. he was also popular amongst the older female trainees because hes adorable.

the first day of training siha was expecting him to be nice and understanding. yknow the whole bf vibe to go with his looks. but boi started screaming like there was no tomorrow. siha had a lot of catching up to do with the other trainees and he caught up fast since he was a good dancer. but with his position being the main dancer kyubong was extra hard on him. he walked out of dance class crying half of the time but was excited to go back just to stare at bongie's beautiful face.
siha doesn't even know if he's bi or gay and he didn't care. in siha's head he was just infactuated. it was normal between guys!!! just like a man crush.
