[ ELABORATION ] jinseok is a mysterious boy. Most people don't know much about him and he likes it that way. at the age of 18 he already gives off a dark and intimidating aura. he does what he wants when he wants and doesn't care what you say about it making him a rebellious boy. he likes to be alone and gets lost in his own dark thoughts. he isn't a happy person, he thinks life is pretty ty and there's no point in worrying about things because we all die anyways. 

he'll express his thoughts outloud sometimes, he says random dark thoughts and his opinions usually have a negative twist to it. he isn't considerate at all and ignores peoples pressence most of the time simply because he doesn't care if you drop something he's not going to interrupt his day to deal with your clumsiness. ask him something and he'll be brutally honest or just walk away. he stares at you with a dead expressionless look in his eyes when people talk and he doesn't care. he gets most excited when talking about music but hates when people point out that he's excited so he acts cold again.

most of the time he's relaxed and doing his own thing but he has a big temper too. he doesn't like being disrespected and anytime he feels someone is coming at him with high energy he'll go from 0 to 100 real quick ready to throw hands. he says his opinions no matter what even if its an elder and he'll argue back too. just a bad attitude overall like he woke up on the wrong side of the bed on the daily.

he likes adventure and doing things hes not supposed to gets him excited so.. he does things he's not supposed to. hes decisive and knows what he likes so if he doesnt like something he won't do it and he'll argue about it. he isn't confident because of his past so he rather not try hard and obviously not do as well than put his all and get bad reviews. he takes criticism hard and usually gets really mad at it.

when he's comfortable with the few friends he has he cracks jokes and is really sarcastic and playful with them like play fights. its either dark humor or dirty jokes. but in honestly he's a and only kissed one girl. he tries to drag his friends along to his adventures but not because he wants to get them in trouble but because he wants to do things he likes with them. 

he hates crying in front of people and people who are overly emotional piss him off. he actually has depression and is down most of the time which is why he's so in his head. since he was little he felt he wasn't good enough and that no one loves him so he pushes people way and gets mad when they try to get too close. he takes out his anger on other people and bullies other members when he's in a bad mood. mostly the younger ones. even if he's not in a bad mood he just does things to s because its funny. for people he dislikes he does it more.

[ APPEARANCE ]  he looks exactly like his faceclaim, he has 2 lobe piercings on his left ear and a lob and helix piercing on his right ear. he has a scar on his left eyebrow from a fight he got into. right now he just has black hair and braces. he has a small tattoo on his finger.

[ elaboration ] jinseok was born on february 5 in 2002 3 minutes before his brother jisung. they're fraternal twins. twins usually look alike but theres something that makes them different and for jisung and jinseok it was their personalities. jisung was the quiet and sweet one and jinseok was the opposite. jinseok's parents were regular office workers, their parents made a normal living and took care of them well. 

since they were little it was clear that jisung was more favored. even if they did the same things, jisung got more praise than jinseok. he didn't realize it when he was younger but as he got older it affected him more. their mom put them both in dance classes as children, jisung was a prodigy while jinseok fell behind. he wasn't a bad dancer but compared to his brother he wasn't good enough "apparently".

in 2013 they both auditioned for sm and only jisung got in. that just hurt him more and his parents looked down on him wondering why he couldn't be like their sweet little jisung. 

the lack of attention made him act out in school. he hung out with bad people, got bad grades. he became a school bully and smoked and drank, ditched class to hang out in pc rooms instead. when jisung left jinseok grew more distant to his parents that he didn't even have dinner with them and just showed up in the middle of the night or not at all. 

at the age of 13 in 2015 he discovered rap music and fell in love. the flow, the swag, everything about it made him happy finally he enjoyed something. rapping became a way for him to express all the dark feelings he had inside and never talked about. he was really depressed because he felt like a failure compared to jisung and like no one cared about him. 

in 2017 at 15 he auditioned for smtm 777 and passed. he ended up on team illionaire but he lost against ph1 and got eliminated during the first live show. that's how he got discovered by yg. he didn't want to join at first because rapping was something he enjoyed and didn't need the built in pressure. the only person he could think of then was jisung and how he was successful in nct. its all his parents talked about ever. yg is a famous company too and he knew if he debuted under yg he could possibly beat jisung at something and finally make him feel like a failure as he did all his life.

[ TRAINEE LIFE ] jinseok joined yg after smtm777, he wasn't a consistent trainee and had a lot of problems. some recognized him from smtm but no one knew he was jisung's brother. he never told anyone, not even on smtm. everyone just knew him as a trouble maker, sometimes he didnt show up to practice and he would smoke in the dorms. he showed up to dance practice with a hangover and even drunk before. he didn't have any friends while training and he didnt care but he did get in fights with other trainees. he didn't get kicked out though. everytime it was monthly evaluation time he did really well. his dancing was better than the average trainee, when he actually put a lot of effort his dancing was in the top 10% of the trainees, and so was his rapping. even though he was a trouble maker, yg liked the aura he gave off. a bad boy aura of someone who just didnt give a . it matched the yg style. when he got added to blackout he didnt get along with all the members and didnt show up sometimes that angered a lot of them. but when it was time to do the dance together he still did his part perfectly. since he's been dancing since he was little he's a great dancer and learns very fast, he just doesn't put the effort. thats why he didn't get the role of a dancer because there were other trainees that worked so much harder.

[ PERSONALITY ] yuna is a bubbly girl. she's very optimistic and loud and funny. she likes to be playful with others and is just a moodmaker wherever she goes. she's really caring and naive but thats just because of her age. she hasn't matured enough yet to see the bad part and dangers of life. even though they're only a year apart jinseok has a different outlook on life than her. she doesn't cry or get sad easily its like happy is her default emotion. but she does get hurt easily and have a fragile heart but she doesnt give up easily! she is naturally cute and a goofball, just doing extra and loud things for no reason sometimes. she also loves going on adventures and exploring.  

[ LOVE STORY ] yuna noticed jinseok first and even after she noticed him he still didnt say her any attention. it was when blackout debuted and itzy was performing that day too, she thought jinseoks rap and performance was really cool. she was shy to approach him but ryujin and lia kept pushing her to him and she bumped into him and bowed at him. he just gave her a nod and walked away and ryujin and lia were dying laughing at her fail. 

since then she was kind of infactuated with him. getting excited everytime he showed up and clapping extra loud for blackout. she even said shes a fan of blackout on shows. 

their second official meeting was when itzy and blackout were exchanging albums backstage. itzy made her give the album to him and she was blushing so much and he just took it not even paying attention to her. later she got his number from another blackout member and sent him a text.

now they're basically strangers with yuna trying to get to know him and maybe be more but he's playing hard to get. not really playing he's just uninterested.

[ IDEAL ENDING ] dating. yuna kept asking him to hang out and hes quiet and cold the whole time but she's bubbly and carrying the conversation. she gets more brave and hugs him when she sees him or hold his arm while he is just not even caring she's clinging him. but she keeps sends him encouraging messages all the time and tries to hang out more. 

maybe one time after a scandal he's getting so much hate he drinks a lot on the dorm rooftop by himself and accidentally calls her saying he doesn't want to live anymore and she keep asking where he is but he never answers and hangs up. then she remembers he said he likes sitting alone on the rooftop because he feels closer to the stars and she quickly goes to blackouts dorm to the rooftop. shes not allowed to leave in the middle of the night but she breaks the rules for once. he asks what shes doing there but she just hugs him tightly crying and says she cares about him and she'll always care about him and she doesnt want him to die. then she takes him back to his room and helps him in bed and tells him to sleep. he says please lay with me and they cuddle and fall asleep. 

jinseok didnt remember the whole night but he remembered what she said and his feelings changed. he was still standoffish and she was still the same but he developed feelings. he opened up his heart and started to get nicer to her and learned a lot from her about being nicer to her. even s were like wtf because he just started doing nice things and getting closer to them. his relationship with jisung gets better too because of her. 

like a good girl falling for bad guy kind of thing and the bad guy turns good because of her.

[ RELATIONSHIP TRIVIA ]

before the incident:
- they're kind of awkward but yuna still sits next to him whenever she can and tries to talk to him
- she calls him jinjin and he hated it at first but he stopped caring after a while
- she "accidentally" does things to get close to him like drop something in front of him but sometimes he won't even react to it
- during music shows when they announce the winner she stands behind him and throws confetti on him and he's like ... wtf
