"Yah stop smiling you look like an idiot" Soojung commented with a slight chuckle, sitting beside Myungsoo at the couch who was smiling widely since they arrived home

"How can I? I just received a very good news tonight"

"It's not your first time though"

He carried Soojung a little and made her sit on his lap, he looked at her with a smile "But still this is a different feeling I've been waiting for it"

"I think all of us had been waiting for it their reactions earlier were precious. I feel like they want the baby to come out already" she said remembering the reactions of their friends earlier

Myungsoo chuckled "Well just like me they're really excited and thirsty for that baby"

She clung her arms on his neck smiling at him, she asked "Are you happy?"

"Really happy! I can't never explain how happy I am"

"I'm sorry for not telling you before"

He tucked her hair on her ears "It's okay I understand that you wanted to surprise me"

"And I did surprise you earlier right? Your reaction I can't even describe it" Soojung said

He laughed a bit "I was really shocked I didn't expect it I didn't know how to react"

"Well actually when I found out that I was pregnant I cried in the hospital"

FLASHBACK ( 5 DAYS AGO )

"Soojung are you okay? You look sick!" Irene said with a worried voice, they were at their favorite cafe having their usual bonding

Soojung rubbed her temples "I'm not okay I feel sick since morning"

"You should've told us so we can cancel this. It's important for you to rest" Irene said

"I don't want to cancel it I want to be with you guys and I don't want to be a burden"

Irene shook her head "It's not a burden at all we can do it next time"

"But I can't even make time for you I'm always busy you guys are always busy too"

"Myungsoo hyung is going to kill us if he finds out about this. You know he hates it when you're forcing yourself to be okay" Sungjong said

Soojung looked at him "I won't tell it to him"

"Do you want us to take you to the hospital? I'm worried" Irene said biting her lower lip. Soojung let out a sighed and nodded. Sungjong stood up from his seat and guided Soojung from standing up, he put his hand to her back while she held on his other hand then Irene got her bag as they went out of the cafe

"Noona don't call him!!" Sungjong said in panicked when he noticed that Irene was about to call Myungsoo, they were already at the hospital and Soojung is still in the room

She frowned "Why?"

"He's going kill us"

Irene rolled her eyes and smacked Sungjong's face "You know sometimes you're annoying"

"Don't call him! Soojung said don't call to Myungsoo hyung she doesn't want him to worry"

"Don't listen to that stubborn girl, Myungsoo needs to know this he is the husband" Irene defended

Sungjong stomped his foot "Listen to me! Don't call Myungsoo"

"Yeah you dare to just call him Myungsoo huh? Wait until he finds out about that" Irene said and stick her tongue out, annoying Sungjong

"Noona!!!!" Sungjong whined while stomping his foot once again

Irene laughed out loud "Okay fine I won't call Myungsoo" she said between her laughs and putting her phone back to her bag

A nurse went out of the room and the two looked at her "Are you the friends of Mrs. Jung?"

"Yes we are" Irene answered

"The doctor wants the two of you inside" The nurse said and the two nodded as they followed the nurse inside the room they saw Soojung sitting at the chair talking to the doctor, the nurse signaled them to sit beside Soojung which they did immediately

"Are you the husband of Mrs. Jung?" The doctor asked Sungjong

He quickly shook his head "No! I am too young for that but I am a friend"

The doctor casually nodded then her attention turned in to the paper she was holding "I called you so you can hear the good news I am about to say to Mrs. Jung"

Irene gasped "Ohmygod! I think I know what's the good news"

"I don't want to take this long anymore" The doctor said she looked at Soojung with a smile "Well congratulations Mrs. Jung you are 1 month and 3 weeks pregnant"

Soojung blinked many times, frozen by the good news meanwhile Irene and Sungjong jumped up and down because of happiness "She's pregnant" they both chanted, but they immediately stopped when Soojung suddenly let out a loud cry causing them including the doctor to be in panicked

Soojung sobbed like a kid "I am pregnant?" she asked

Irene nodded "Yes aren't you happy?"

"I'm happy!" she said between her sobs

"Then why are you crying?"

"Tears of joy" she said and cried again seconds later she stopped crying and looked at the doctor "Are you sure I'm really pregnant?"

The doctor gave the paper to her then she read it carefully "I'm really pregnant" she murmured

"Myungsoo hyung is going to be happy" Sungjong said excitedly

Soojung looked up to him "Let's not tell him"

"Why?" Sungjong asked in a confuse tone

"I want to surprise him" Soojung replied with a smile

"Well congratulations to you" Myungsoo said

"Good job for me" Soojung said and pecked on his lips

He tapped the tip of her nose "Yah you better be careful from now on. Don't get mad at me if I'll be really strict with you I just want a healthy pregnancy for you this time so better listen to me"

"What are you my mom?"

"No but I'm your husband and I'm the father of the baby" Myungsoo said and rolled his eyes

"I will listen to you but don't get mad at me if I get grumpy I'm pregnant it's part of the consequence"

"You are always grumpy even if you're not pregnant" He stated earning a slap on the arms from Soojung

"You're going to be 10x grumpy and moody now I should prepare myself"

"Whatever! I hope this baby is a girl" Soojung said with a smile caressing her still flat tummy

"I wish it's a boy"

"No girl is better I can dress her up whatever I want. I can tie her hair in different styles" Soojung said

"You can dress up a boy too you can style his hair too like mine"

"But I want a baby girl" Soojung pouted

"I want it to be a boy though"

"A girl is a daddy's girl"

Myungsoo shrugged his shoulders "A boy is closest to their mother"

"Girl"

"Boy"

"Girl" Soojung retorted

"Boy" Myungsoo said

Soojung crossed her arms and looked at Myungsoo "Yah are we really going to fight over the baby's gender"

He let out a small laugh and pulled her closer "I was just playing with you but to be honest whatever gender it is as long it's my child I'm okay"

"Of course it's your child stupid"

"Ah before I forgot pack some clothes" Myungsoo said then applying some kisses on her cheeks

Soojung looked at him in a confused look "Why?"

"We're going to your parents tomorrow they need to know the good news"

"Really?" she said excitedly, how she misses her hometown and especially her parents

He nodded "It's better if we say to them in personal right and I know you miss them we'll be spending the night there since I can only be away for 1 day from work"

"It's okay. What time are we leaving?"

"6am. I got the train ticket already so better pack now so we can sleep"

Soojung stood up "Okay! Ah wait how about your parents?"
