Soojung stretched her hands as she reached for her phone in the bed side table, her eyes was still half closed when she answered the call

“Hello” she said in a sleepy voice

“Soojung! I’m already home are you going to visit me?”

Hearing the voice she already know who was the person from the other line “Jungkook” she said as she slowly sat up “I don’t know if I can go there today”

“Why?”

She looked at her side and saw Myungsoo peacefully sleeping, she touched his forehead to check if his fever went down already, it did but he’s still sick “Myungsoo is sick and I can’t leave him alone. I’ll visit you tomorrow and I need to settle everything now”

She heard Jungkook let out a sigh “Is that so? Okay! I’ll just see you tomorrow”

“Rest okay? Don’t move so much! Listen to your hyungs just practice your vocal and not your dance for now” Soojung reminded him earning a chuckle from Jungkook

“I get is Ms. Jung. Goodbye for now the hyungs are calling me for lunch” He said before ending the call

She got up from the bed “Okay! Goodbye” she said and ended the call

She took a bath first before going down to cook lunch for the both of them. She glanced at Myungsoo before going out of the room silently afraid to make any noises that can wake him up

It’s almost one month since they last ate together, they’ve been ignoring each other before and Soojung became busy with Jungkook while Myungsoo on the restaurant that he manage. So she planned to make this day special before she ends everything tonight

She was planning to mention the divorce to Myungsoo later, she can’t stay any longer. The more she stays with him the more she’s having a hard time to move on

She decided to cook Myungsoo’s favorite dishes. Soojung really loves cooking, she was a culinary student after all. But after graduation she never had a chance to work even if she wants to because Myungsoo never allow her

Even though they fight most of the time and doesn’t agree to same things. Myungsoo never let her work because he’s a girl he should be the one working and not her. So he asked Soojung not to work anymore and just let him be do the living for the both of them. Since Myungsoo’s family is rich they never had a problem with money but still his parents let him manage one of their restaurants

His eyes were still half closed when Myungsoo stood up from the bed he was about to go to the bathroom to pee and take a bath when he bumped in to the chair causing Soojung’s bag to fall on the ground including all the things inside the bag

He groaned in annoyance and picked up all the things that was scattered on the floor and put it back inside the bag. His curiosity suddenly appeared when his eyes landed on a familiar envelope. He pick it up and examine it, it was the same envelope he saw that his mother was reading when he visited them last time

He decided to open the envelope, his eyes grew wider when he saw that it was a divorce paper. He read it from the start to end. He himself cannot believe what he was seeing, he thought that they were okay but he was wrong.

“Myungsoo” he heard a stuttering voice, he looked at Soojung who was standing at the door her eyes were focused on him

He stood up from the edge of the bed “Myungsoo I can explain” Soojung said as she walked over to him

“No it’s okay! I read everything in that paper. I fully understand it. I didn’t know that you wanted a divorce”

“I’m sorry” she said as she looked down “But it’s the best for us”

“Right. Best” he said in a sarcastic tone, he dropped the paper on the bed “I’ll be leaving after I take a bath! Just leave that divorce paper here. I’ll sign it later, you can already leave later if you want”

“Myungsoo” she called as she held his grip, he looked at her but she noticed that he was emotionless “Are you mad at me?”

Myungsoo shrugged his shoulders “Why would I? Because of the divorce? If that’s what you wanted I can give it to you. Like what you said it’s for the best of us” he said and removed Soojung’s grip to him

Soojung nodded as she let Myungsoo leave her it wasn’t the reaction that she was expecting from him. She thought that he will be mad and shout at her but instead he was calm and emotionless

He stopped his tracks, his back was facing Soojung “Do you really love Jungkook that’s why you’re doing this?”

It took her seconds before she can finally answer his questions “Yes”

He didn’t reply to her anymore and went to the bathroom. That simple yes made his heart ripped in to pieces.

“I’m Sorry” she thought as she bit her lower lip

She went to the living room and sat at the couch waiting for Myungsoo to come out, the foods that she prepared were already at the table. After that intense conversation with him she still expect to have a special last lunch date with Myungsoo

Soojung looked up when she heard footsteps going down the stairs, he was wearing casual clothes ready to leave the house “I’m leaving”

“Aren’t you going to eat lunch? I prepared your favorite dishes” she said

“I don’t have any appetite” he said and picked up his keys on the table in the living room

“Wait!” she stopped her before he can finally leave the house “You’re still sick”

“I’m fine don’t worry about me Soojung” he said with an annoyed tone

Myungsoo slammed the door of his car as soon as he went in the car. He was annoyed and mad he was just trying hard not to show it to Soojung. He drove fast to Woohyun’s company where he can possibly meet Jungkook that can make his insides boil in anger

“You’re such a loser Kim Myungsoo” he hissed

Soon enough he arrived at the place, he went straight to the music room. Where Woohyun asked
