Flashback

It was the day where Soojung and Myungsoo went to Kim’s residence to have a lunch date with Myungsoo’s parents but too bad it didn’t go well. Myungsoo had a fight with Soojung and his parents.

“Mom I want a divorce”

His mother stood up in shock “What?” she shouted in disbelief

“Why are you suddenly asking a divorce? Soojung what is this?” Mr. Kim asked

Soojung looked down afraid to have an eye contact with Myungsoo’s parents “We already spent 1 year together and we never really work out! It’s time for our to have our own separate lives you can’t expect us to fall in love with each other I’m sorry”

“Is my son not treating you right?” His mother asked worriedly

“No! Myungsoo has been a good husband to me but I think it’s not right to keep pushing us together” Soojung said

Mr. Kim let out sigh “Is that what you really want Soojung?”

She nodded “And I think it’s the best for the both of us”

“Can’t you change your mind Soojung?” Myungsoo’s mother asks

Soojung reached for her hand and squeezed it lightly “I know I upset you for asking for this but I’m really sorry mom”

“Yes I can’t hide my disappointment! You were a great daughter in law to me I’m really against this but I don’t hold your life so if this what you want I can’t stop you” she exclaimed

“I’m sorry” she said in a low tone

She shrugged her shoulders “Make sure to talk about it with Myungsoo first before ending it it’s better if you both decide about it”

“I get it”

She stood up “I got to go Soojung! I’m still hoping that you will change your decision” she said as she placed a hand over her shoulders

Soojung pressed her both lips “Sorry” she mumbled

She decided to stroll around for a while before going back to the hospital. While she was walking she bumped in to Irene who was walking around with her puppy, she immediately greeted Soojung

“Are you still mad at me Soojung?” Irene asks in a worried tone

Soojung smiled “I am not!”

“That’s a relief! Do you have some free time?” Irene asks

Soojung checked her watch “Yup I think so why?”

“Care to give it to me for awhile? Let’s grab ice cream like what we usually do before” Irene said happily and Soojung agreed to her. She missed spending time with Irene just like before

They sat at the bench near the ice cream café since they weren’t allowed to go inside because Irene brought her dog “Sorry we can’t enter the café because of me” she said as she sat beside Soojung and gave the ice cream to her

Soojung smiled as she caressed the dog’s hair before putting her down“It’s okay! It’s fun here outside”

“So what are you doing here alone? Why aren’t you with Jungkook or Myungsoo?” Irene said while eating her ice cream

“Jungkook is in the hospital why Myungsoo I don’t know his whereabouts right now”

“Jungkook? Why is he in the hospital?”

“He sprained his ankle for overworking. He’s a trainee in ANB Entertainment he’s going to debut next month together with his friends” Soojung said with a smile

Irene’s eyes widen “Really? I didn’t know that Jungkook is gifted with talents”

“He can sing he can dance he can rap” Soojung stated with a sweet smile

“God surely poured everything to him” Irene said with a chuckle and Soojung casually agreed “But is he doing fine now? I mean his sprained ankle?”

“The doctor said that it will heal soon” she answered

“Are you dating him?” Irene said as she looked at Soojung

She stopped eating ice cream and spoke “Well no but we’ll get there soon”

“If that happens how about Myungsoo” Irene thought, she somehow pity Myungsoo “Don’t you like Myungsoo, Soojung?”

“Before but I change my mind we will never work out and your back it’s time for the both of you to fix your relationship that I ruined before” Soojung exclaimed

“Is this because of me?”

Soojung shook her head “No it’s not! The problem is me”

“I don’t see it! You know what’s the problem? You never told him your feelings for him what if the feelings are mutual?” Irene said, Soojung looked at her and smiled

“It’s impossible”
