Turn-Off #11 : Foreign Words.
kimcheeese's Turn-Offs.#11 : Foreign Words.
I'm honestly okay when people use a few of the simple Korean words like: Oppa and Noona, since majority of us knows what they mean. But when it gets a little out of hand, like using those long words that just look like Gibberish (ex: danghwangseureowoyo). Does that not look like a few random letters I just typed? Well, it's not-- apparently it's a real Korean word meaning 'confused'. I mean, if you're Korean or know how to speak Korean, then this chapter wouldn't apply to you, but others don't know what that meant.
Let me get to point: what I'm trying to say is that if you're planning to write a fanfiction that involves confusing words that your readers will probably have to search up, then it's better to just write all your ing chapters in that language. I'm not talking about that language being Romanized, but I'm talking about it's actual characters. Like above, that example for 'confused', instead of writing 'danghwangseureowoyo', use '당황스러워요'. This not only applies for Korean words, but any other languages as well.
#12 : Your Punctuation (Kuroba).
Credit for the Korean word goes to lifeinkorea.
