"I love you Taeyeon. I love you so damn much." Jessica helds Taeyeon's gaze with her own eyes reflecting the sincerity and intensity of her words. Time stood still as they stand in each other's embrace that Jessica wishes for the moment to never end.
Jessica's eyes is a mirror of her own heart, filled with so much warmth and love that Taeyeon felt her heart beating irregularly and missing some beats.
But Taeyeon is yet to answer the confession, and with each passing second of silence Jessica grows more anxious. Her fears are starting to rush back in, filling her thoughts with doubts and her courage long gone while her strong facade is melting down.
Taeyeon pushed Jessica just slightly to allow space in between. She quivered a little bit, making sense of what just happened. Jessica loves her, she said she does and Taeyeon should be ecstatic. But she isn't. Confused and afraid, Taeyeon trembled.

She doesn't like the growing feeling of being attached to Jessica. She hates the emptiness she is feeling at certain moments, she's losing control and she hates it. Most of all, she's feeling that fear that nearly killed her. Her fear of abandonment.
Taeyeon thought she's in control, that she's going to be fine and she can overcome it. But it only took Jessica to confess for her inner demons to break loose and loom over her once again.
Taeyeon loved deeply and came crashing on a hard fall with scars never healing.
With the inner turmiol she's going through, the sight of her phone lying by the bedside table made her act on impulse booking the earliest flight back to California. Work and promotion be damned she's not s
