Freezing on her spot, coldness seeping in but not reaching her heart, Taeyeon stood in place staring at the woman in front of her. It can't be real, she can't be real Taeyeon thinks, but the morning breeze carries the all too familiar womanly scent she's knows so well - a proof that Jessica is not just a fragment of her imagination.

Taeyeon takes a step back once, twice until her back hits the closed door of her home.

"I - ah..." Taeyeon tries. Wanting to utter a word yet failing to say something, so she's left gaping unsure of what to say. Something inside her starts to twist rendering her speechless, chest tightening and clutching her heart feeling the rapid beating. She shuts her eyes trying to focus on her breathing and calming her uneasy heart - oh the things Jessica does to her, she affects her in so many ways.

And Taeyeon missed the way Jessica flinched at her sudden reaction; or the pain that crosses the woman's eyes and marring her face. In two big strides the wide gap was closed to mere steps, left only a couple of feet worth of a distance in between them and Jessica leaving her luggage close by the roadside - to hell with it what matters right now is Taeyeon.

With sharp intakes of breath for a good couple of minutes, Taeyeon was able to control her raging heart and return it to a calmer state - as calm as it could be when she is in the presence of Jessica. When she finally looked up, brown eyes filled of worry but with a hint of tenderness greeted hers, locking her gaze in place they stood in place just like that for a good while, lost in each others eyes.

But the moment was short lived and got interrupted. "Hey ladies! Get your things out of here!" A grumpy man passing by walking his dog hollers pointing at Jessica's luggage that is hindering his way.

The two was forced to break the contact before Jessica hurries to get her things - struggling to pull her trolley bag out the way and in to Taeyeon's front door while carrying the coffee and breakfast takeouts in her other hand.

"Taeyeon I'm- uhm..." She pauses, eyeing the pale woman still rooted in place. Jessica sighs. "Can I come in? I bought us breakfast." She asks again, raising her arm to get her point across.

Taeyeon opens the door reluctantly, just like how she's opening her heart for Jessica - with so much reluctance on the thought of letting her in, afraid of the possibilities of being filled and abandoned. She takes the first steps in before opening her door wider for Jessica to come in.

"Tae can you help me please?" Jessica calls extending her hand that is full of food while she struggles to pull her luggage in with the other.

Taeyeon blinks absent-mindedly still trying to process everything in, her brain's going haywire. She looks at Jessica and to her extended hand before getting what she meant. "O-oh r-right. I'll take these." She says before taking the bags of food, walking towards her kitchen area and letting Jessica pull her big suitcase in to her home with two hands.

Jessica sets her bags by the foyer before following Taeyeon down the hallway. The woman is already settled by the kitchen island that serves as the dining table and a divider from the living area.

Jessica roams her eyes around the room taking in the whole interior - the spacious place is blanketed in white where the kitchen is adjacent to the living room and a long black sofa faces a high definition 64" flatscreen TV - all appliances and furnitures are black even the living room carpet. The stairs going up to the second level is attached to the wall where the hallway ends and the highlight of the place is the floor to ceiling glass wall overlooking the sea - everything is perfectly in place and a lot like Taeyeon.

It's cold though, Jessica noticed. It's not just the centralized airconditioner but the whole place itself gives off a cold vibe - just like the owner, Jessica sighs.

Jessica made her way towards Taeyeon who stares blankly at the horizon, cleared of an imaginary itch to get the other girl pay attention to her. Taeyeon turns to Jessica blinking once again to return her wandering thoughts to reality.

Even though she's dying to embrace Taeyeon, Jessica controls the urge and tries to act calmly as possible. She started to take the breakfast she bought out the bags starting with the two cups of coffee. Jessica was in a hurry and exhausted earlier that she only managed to grab a baguette and croissants along with the coffee at the cafe she passed by two blocks away.

The scent of brewed coffee and freshly baked blueberry croissants invaded Taeyeon's senses and her stomach growls embarrassingly - it's her ideal breakfast on the go when she's in a hurry and running late to work and her system can't deny its craving for food. Taeyeon turns her eyes away from Jessica, ears so red due to embarrassment.

Jessica giggles at the cute sight displayed in front of her, how she wishes to see this every single day she'd trade anything and everything to spend every morning with Taeyeon - share breakfast together, lounge and get lazy watching the sun rises, spend every waking hours in each others presence and ends their day in each others embrace. Jessica is too far ahead in her dreaming of a future with Taeyeon, but she promises herself to make it all happen and it all starts today.
