Sehun's POV

To prove father I could handle running the Grand bank by myself, I was going on a business trip in his place 

"Sehun, this is your final chance. If you mess this up it'll take at least six more months of tutoring to get you back to the first step" 

"I promise you Father, I won't make any mistakes on this trip" 

I leave his study to go pack a bag for this week long trip. 

While I was packing, I figured I'd have to go see Sophie before I left and tell her I'll be gone for a few days so she wouldn't miss me so much 

Once I got everything I needed in my suitcase and went over a mental checklist, I head to her house.  

She was getting dropped off by Vanessa when I arrived. I caught her before she went inside 

"I'm not sure if you want to come inside, my parents are home and they're super intimidating" 

"You don't have to tell me twice, so is my father" 

We sit on a swinging bench in her front yard. 

"So why have you randomly appeared at my residence?" She asks as she swings us back and forth 

"I'm going on a business trip" 

"Wow sounds fun" she teases 

"Yeah it's a blast. Anyways I just came over here to tell you that so you wouldn't think I went missing or anything" 

"You could've called me" 

"I could've of, if I had your number" 

"Is this your way of asking for my number?" 

"Maybe" 

"I mean if you would have just asked I would have given it to you. No need to lie about some business trip" she laughs 

"I'm not lying, I really am going on a business trip" 

"Here take it. Just quit lying to me" she hands me a piece of ripped paper with her number on it 

I smile at the numbers 

"Alright, well I have an early morning so I should get going" 

''I give you my number and now you're running off. Shouldn't you buy me dinner at least?" she exaggerates

"Yeah make some reservations, we'll go when I get back" 

"I'm going to hold you to it" 

"Look Sophie if you want me to take you on a date just say it already" I say as I'm walking to my car

She laughs, "Fine, let's go on a date"

"I'll be looking forward to it" 

"You have to call me first" she waves to me

"Will do" I wave to her out of the window 

When I get back home I couldn't stop smiling

"Look at that grin of yours, you must really like this girl" my mother says but I tell her to lower her voice 

"I don't want Father to know about Sophie, he'll only use it against me, claiming I won't be able to focus with a girl on my mind" 

"Your secret is safe with me" she whispers 

I spent the majority of the night thinking about Sophie,  she seems to be the first person on my mind when I wake up and the last person before I go to bed 

While at the airport, I stared at my phone, growing anxious as I dial her number. 

I listened to the dial tone, my hands were shaking a bit 

"Hello?" I heard her sweet voice which calmed my nerves

"Guess who this is?"

"The pizza guy, because I could really go for one right now" she giggles

"Sadly no, it's the handsome Sehun" 

"Handsome? I guess I would agree with that" I feel my face get hot at her compliment 

"So I held up, my part of the deal, now you have to make reservations"

"I will, what kind of food do you like?" 

I hear that my flight is about to take off

"Surprise me" is the last thing I say before I say my goodbyes and hang up 

Sophie's POV

"Are you expecting a call?" Vanessa asks me while we're doing homework 

"No what makes you say that?" 

"You keep glancing over at your phone" she tells me and I catch myself looking at it again

"Okay, you got me. I'm expecting a call from Sehun" 

"I knew it! You like him, you liiiike him" she mocks me, she sounds like a four year old. 

"Yeah maybe a little" I admit 

"Well I'm glad you've finally found someone else to put your attention towards besides Ballet" 

"I only said a little"

My phone finally rings. I excuse myself and take the call in the front yard so my parents couldn't hear. 

"Today was overwhelming" Sehun tells me as he lets out a big sigh

"Hey at least it's over now"

"I hope every day isn't going to be like this" 

"You'll get use to it"

"How was your day without seeing me?" 

"Just a regular ol' day" 

"Fine if you won't say it first, I guess I will. I missed you" 

I freeze, I felt like I was going to burst, the only people who tell me that are my parents and Vanessa

"I missed you too" I felt a little embarass but happy at the same time, I couldn't stop smiling.
