Sophie's POV

Today was Vanessa's first day at her new bank job, she told me when she would have her break, so I waited at the McDonald's across the street until four. 

I watched as people in suits went in and out, shaking Sehun's hand and patting him on the back. 

He looked nice, he too was wearing a suit and his hair was brushed back. I decide to go congratulate him as well

When I walk in he waves at me and I slowly make my way towards him. 

"Are you the manager? I'd like to compliment how lovely this bank looks" I say

"Thank you" he smiles at me

"And let me not forget to add how fancy you look" 

He smiles and looks at the ground

"Again, thank you" 

"Are you nervous? Running an entire bank by yourself?"

"A little, but I've been trained my whole life for it, I should do a good job" 

Before I could say anything else, we heard someone calling his name, he tells me he'll talk to me later and goes back over to the crowd of people

I had to admit, he did look good in that suit. While I was looking at Sehun, I spot Vanessa looking right at me and by the way she was looking at me I knew she had something to tell me

"You lied, you said Sehun wasn't cute" she says while we eat McNuggets 

"I never said he wasn't cute, I just said that it wasn't important"

"Well don't think I didn't see how you were drooling all over him, you like him don't you?"

"I don't know, I've never had a crush so I wouldn't know how it feels honestly"

"Do you like being around him? Does your heart pound and your hands get sweaty? Do you think about him often?"

"Sometimes" is the answer to all three" 

"It's just developing, once it gets stronger, the answer will be "Yes all the time!" she over exaggerates

"I don't think I have time for love, right now my only love is Ballet"

"I understand that's your passion, but you have to experience love with an actual person someday"

"And I will. Someday" 

She smiles and eats the last McNugget. 

Sehun's POV

"Who was that girl you were speaking to?" my mother asks me

"Her name is Sophie, she's..." I actually didn't know what she was since she claimed we weren't friends yet "she's a girl I know"

"She's pretty and has excellent posture" 

"Yeah, she's a Ballerina"

"Wow, a Ballerina, that sounds so amazing" 

"She's pretty amazing" I hadn't realized what I said until I saw my mother's expression

"Oh, you like her don't you?" 

"I don't know, what does it mean to like someone really?"

"You're asking an old lady like me? How should I know?" she jokes 

"I haven't quite figured out how I feel about her, I'm still getting to know her" 

"Well I want to meet her, I bet she's a lovely person" 

She certainly was. 

I watch as she walks her friend back over. 

"Look she's back, oh she's friend with one of the employees. What a coincidence" 

When her friend walks in my mother stops her

"You're friends with Sophie?" she asks her, seeing her nametag reminded me what her name was 

"Yeah, she's my best friend why?"

"My son seems to be developing a crush on her" she tells her and my entire face turns red. 

"She's just joking! Aren't you Mother?" I nudge her elbow

"Of course I am, they're just friends" she does this phony laugh and Vanessa smiles. 

Before she goes back to work I stop her.

"Uhm..,d-don't tell Sophie what my mother said okay?" I rub the back of my neck

"Yeah no problem, besides Sophie is too focused on Ballet to date anybody" she informs me

"I figured that, that's why we're only friends"

"Of course you two are" she grins and goes back to work.
