Chapter 8
Memories of You
“You look happy,” Yuri smiled.
“Yuri…We need to talk,” Hyoyeon sat on the couch.
“Girl talk?” Yuri asked.
“If I told you I liked someone,” Hyoyeon started.
“Who?!” Yuri jumped up and down.
“Promise me…You won’t be mad,” Hyoyeon said.
“Promise,” Yuri nodded.
“I…I think I like him,” Hyoyeon whispered.
“Who?!” Yuri smiled brightly.
“Again,” Hyoyeon finished.
“Again?” Yuri thought. “E-Eunhyuk?”
“Ne,” Hyoyeon said.
“Since when?” Yuri asked. “Wait…You were sad yesterday. Actually you were sad ever since Eunhyuk got mad at you. That’s why you didn’t want to eat! That’s what you were thinking about last night,”
“Ne,” Hyoyeon nodded.
“Tell me…What happened?” Yuri asked. Hyoyeon explained to Yuri what happened while she blushed.
“That’s it.” Hyoyeon finished.
“…” Yuri stared at her blankly.
“Are you okay? Are you mad?” Hyoyeon asked worriedly. “I mean if I can’t, then I won’t, I know you don’t want me to get hurt, so Eunhyuk will be out-,”
“AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” Yuri tackled Hyoyeon.
“Yuri-ah!” Hyoyeon screamed.
“That’s the cutest story ever!” Yuri squealed.
“Wait…So you accept it?” Hyoyeon asked.
“I can’t stop your love for him!” Yuri laughed.
“Love?! Mwoh?!” Hyoyeon screamed.
“Didn’t you LOVE him before,” Yuri teased.
“But you didn’t like it,” Hyoyeon rolled her eyes.
“Now I do! So go! Go to your Hyukkie!” Yuri jumped.
“You’re so weird,” Hyoyeon laughed.
“Hyohyuk, all the way!” Yuri screamed.
“They live next door!” Hyoyeon covered Yuri’s mouth.
“Sorry,” Yuri smiled.
“So how are you and Nickhun?” Hyoyeon asked.
“I don’t like him. There’s someone else,” Yuri said.
“Someone else? Who?” Hyoyeon asked.
“I don’t know,” Yuri shrugged.
“What’s your ideal type?” Hyoyeon asked.
“At first it was someone, handsome, tall, and cute,” Yuri explained.
“So outer appearance?” Hyoyeon laughed.
“Yes, but now…I don’t feel that way anymore,” Yuri said.
“Then how do you feel?” Hyoyeon asked.
“Someone…that can make me happy,” Yuri smiled.
“Hyoyeon-ah, it’s cold,” Yuri said while standing outside the school.
“It’s only breezy,” Hyoyeon replied.
“Aish, can’t we go inside?” Yuri asked.
“Yesung will be here too,” Hyoyeon said.
“I don’t care! I’m cold! I don’t want to be late!” Yuri ran in the school.
“Yuri!!” Hyoyeon sighed and sat down on the steps. She took a piece of paper out of her pocket.
“Here’s my number, we should keep in touch…My buddy, Hyoyeonnie. Don’t forget to call me!
~Hyukkie” She read and held the paper.
“Aish! Why do I need to call him? It’s school,” Hyoyeon said. “But what if he’s late? Then I have to make an excuse. But then he will be mad again…What do I do?!” Hyoyeon lied down on the steps and closed her eyes. “I don’t want to seem like I’m desperate,”
KRINGGGGGGG!!!!!!!
“Omo!! I’m late!!” Hyoyeon opened her eyes.
“Hi Hyoyeonnie,” a voice chuckled.
“Eunhyuk?” Hyoyeon stared at him.
“I thought it was Hyukkie,” Eunhyuk chuckled.
“We’re late!” Hyoyeon tried to open the door.
“It’s locked after we’re late,” Eunhyuk laughed.
“Why are you laughing?” Hyoyeon asked.
“Because you’re over exaggerating and because…you were thinking about…calling me?” Eunhyuk asked.
“I wasn’t!” Hyoyeon argued.
“Okay, whatever,” Eunhyuk laughed. He took Hyoyeon’s phone out of her hand. “There,”
“What did you do?” Hyoyeon asked.
“I saved my number and now I’m calling my phone,” Eunhyuk said and saved Hyoyeon’s number. “Here
