Chapter 4
Memories of You
“Annyeonghaseyo, I’m Hyoyeon, you must be my tutor,” Hyoyeon bowed, when she looked up she saw the face looking at her.
“Hi Hyoyeon,” the person smiled brightly.
“E-Eunhyuk? You’re my tutor?” Hyoyeon asked.
“Yeah,” Eunhyuk chuckled.
“Is this a joke?” Hyoyeon asked.
“Why would it be?” Eunhyuk asked.
“But…People said you cheat,” Hyoyeon whispered.
“Do you really think I’m like that?” Eunhyuk asked.
“Aniyo, I never did,” Hyoyeon shook her head.
“There’s such thing as rumors,” Eunhyuk sat down.
“So…Can you help me?” Hyoyeon asked.
“That’s why I’m here,” Eunhyuk laughed.
“Do you understand?” Eunhyuk asked.
“Yeah,” Hyoyeon nodded.
“So go ahead and do this worksheet by yourself,” Eunhyuk smiled. He got up and went towards the bookshelf to put the books up.
“Is this the real him? Why does it seem like he’s the guy I thought he was years ago in high school? I’m in college now; the rumors about him are still the same. Isn’t he a player, a jerk, someone that uses you?” Hyoyeon thought. “I always thought of him as a nice and caring person. Someone that is just trying to fit in…Is this the real him? Or is he acting?”
“Yah, you should work,” Eunhyuk told her.
“Ne,” Hyoyeon nodded. After about thirty minutes Hyoyeon finally finished.
“I’m finish,” Hyoyeon said. She looked over at Eunhyuk and saw him sleeping. “E-Eunhyuk,” she shook him.
“Y-Yeah,” Eunhyuk yawned and rubbed his eyes.
“I’m finish,” Hyoyeon said.
“I’ll check it,” Eunhyuk replied. Hyoyeon got up and looked around while Eunhyuk graded the papers.
“Omo! What time is it?” Hyoyeon asked.
“Here, you got all of them right, good job,” Eunhyuk smiled.
“Chincha?” Hyoyeon smiled.
“I think you just need someone to explain it thoroughly,” Eunhyuk explained.
“Ne, it’s eight! I have to get home,” Hyoyeon said.
“Our apartments are next to each other,” Eunhyuk said.
“I can take the bus, bye. Thanks for tutoring me,” Hyoyeon bowed. She was about to run out until Eunhyuk grabbed her hand.
“I’ll take you home,” he told her.
“But-,” Hyoyeon started. Eunhyuk placed a finger on her lips.
“Come on,” he winked.
“Get in,” Eunhyuk told her while opening the door for her.
“Okay,” Hyoyeon sat inside.
“Are you hungry?” Eunhyuk asked.
“Aniyo,” Hyoyeon replied while Eunhyuk started the car.
“Actually, I think you are,” Eunhyuk chuckled.
“What made you think that?” Hyoyeon asked as her stomach grumbled.
“That did,” Eunhyuk laughed.
“Hamburger,” Eunhyuk sat down.
“Thank you,” Hyoyeon started to eat.
“So Hyoyeon…Are you still in the box?” Eunhyuk asked.
“Mwoh?” Hyoyeon looked at him.
“Here are some fries and soda,” Eunhyuk said.
“In the box…” Hyoyeon started.
“Yeah, you know smart, quiet, does everything and anything people want you to do. Don’t you ever joke around nor have fun? Why aren’t you outgoing?” Eunhyuk asked.
“I do,” Hyoyeon said.
“Then why don’t I ever see you?” Eunhyuk asked.
“Because I’m outgoing around my friends,” Hyoyeon replied.
“Then if we’re friends…Will you be outgoing?” Eunhyuk asked and Hyoyeon just stared at him blankly.
“F-Friends?” Hyoyeon asked.
“Yeah,” Eunhyuk nodded.
“We can’t…We live in two different worlds,” Hyoyeon said.
“Right,” Eunhyuk said. “But still I’m not the person everyone thin
