Jenny stepped out of the bus and into the fresh air of the woods. She took a deep breath and looked around. A lot of kids were already here at camp, and she was already nervous about making friends. She walked around until she found the main office and stepped in. The lady at the front desk looked up.

"Um, hello. I'm Jenny Lee, the new camper"

"Oh! Okay. Let me put you in cabin 6. There's about ten people in each cabin. Hope you have fun!"

As Jenny neared cabin 6, she heard a bunch of talking and giggling.

'Hm.... I guess I might have fun here.'

She took a deep breath and walked into cabin 6. All the chattering stopped. 

" Hi, I'm Jenny Lee. Hope we can get along."

Immediately all the girls surrounded her. 

"Oh my gosh! I love your hair!"

"your skin is so pretty!"

" Where are you from?"

" We are gonna have so much fun!"

" Whoa, guys, give her some space!"

The crowd around me cleared to reveal a girl about my height with slightly tanned skin, big eyes, long hair in a pony tail, and long legs. "Hi, I'm Erica, but call me Ari. I'm the counselor of this cabin, but I'm the same age as all of the campers here. Welcome to camp Piney Woods. I think we're going to get along just fine." 

Jenny walked over to her assigned bed and sat down. Erica walked over to me.

"Hey, you can unpack later. Let me give you a tour of the place"

We started walking around when Erica saw two little kids fighting.

" I will be right back"

Jenny nodded. 

" Hey, you. Girl with brown hair!"

She turned around to see a tall, muscular guy with big, choclatey eyes, and big dimples calling her.

"What!"

"Pick up my bags"

"No"

'She's cute'

Jenny scowled

"Did you just call me cute?"

"How the heck did you hear me?"

"I have something called ears, you idiot"

"I- you know what? Never mind"

'I probably said it aloud on accident. Aish, now she knows what I 

think of her'

Jenny watched as he walked off. 

'That was weird. What a jerk. Carry his bags? Does he think I'm his servant?'

She shook her head. 'I did not hear his thoughts.'

"Um hey, you okay?"

She looked up to see Ari looking at her.

"Yeah, sure."

'I'm just losing my mind, probably."
