Foreword:

Jiyong pulled his knees to his chin, and wrapped his arms around his legs. He shut his eyes and brushed the glistening tears on his cheeks. It has been an hour, maybe longer, he did not keep track of the time. He knew it was going to happen, he could feel it. Seunghyun was carefully putting distance between them ever since he came back from Paris. And now, Seunghyun just shuts him out like that. No reason, no explanation. 

Two hours ago

Jiyong stood outside Seunghyun's villa, with paperbags full of ingredients from the grocery store, hoping to cook a decent meal for Seunghyun before they head out to meet the rest. He frowned when the door pin lock screen flashed red; incorrect code, try again. Surely he wouldn't remember it wrongly, it was something so familiar and routine for him. He dialed for Seunghyun and it went straight to voicemail. 

"Seunghyun, I'm outside. Open the door for me. Why isn't the pin working?" He left a voicemail, and waited patiently.

Five, ten minutes has passed and there was no response. To the voicemail, to the doorbell. He was so sure that Seunghyun was home, he said that he didn't have any plans for the day. Something was wrong.

Jiyong: Hyung? Why aren't you opening the door? (12.32pm)

Jiyong: What happened? (12.33pm)

It was freezing. He didn't bring an extra coat since Soonho drove them to the store together and dropped him off at Seunghyun's. He checked his phone for messages, a note that Seunghyun had sudden plans with his friends. Something to assure him that everything's fine. If it wasn't confusing enough, Jiyong could hear footsteps inside, something to prove that Seunghyun was home.

Jiyong: I know you're home. Why are you not picking up? (2.15pm)

Jiyong: I'm freezing :( (2.15pm)

He almost couldn't believe it when he saw Seunghyun's name on his screen.

Seunghyun: Go home. (2.17pm)

He quickly dialed for Seunghyun, hoping that he'd at least pick up this time. And he did.
