"You'll never know how love will approach you but in time, you'll realize it. If not, I'm sure there'll be something huge out there that'll hit you hard in the head. If both of you are destined to love each other forever, then there's no way you could avoid it even if you desired to. Love is effortless, it'll make it's own way to you. So don't stress yourself too much if you aren't in a relationship yet."

Krystal remembered what her dear friend Victoria told her about love. Recently, almost a lot of people around her were having romantic relationships and to her she can't express how she truly feels about it. Is she supposed to feel jealous? Or disgust?

Krystal haven't gone in a romantic relationship ever since she was born. Not that she was unattractive and all, truthfully there are lots of guys wanting to date her at school but she was just not interested at all. At first, she thought it was all fine. But recently seeing her friends bothering themselves to find romance just irks her. She started to question herself as to why she didn't think any of it, while her friends are so crazy about falling in love. And one time, Victoria who is her friend yet in a higher batch confronts her as to why she's acting weird lately. And there their conversation gave her so much thoughts running through her head instead of getting everything crystal clear.

"Unnie! I'm home!" Krystal threw her shoes on the floor as she make way through the living room. School is definitely tiring.

"Unnie!!!" She called again because her big sister usually reply back at her when she's at home already. It's weird it's this silent when she came home. She was expecting her sister to throw herself at her and hug her tightly. And perhaps give her a thousand kisses. But unfortunately, there was none of it today. Although she's acting cold towards Jessica, she actually likes everything her sister's doing to her.

Krystal inspects every area of the house to look for her sister and to her surprise, she found Jessica lying on the kitchen floor unconcsious. To her horror, Krystal panicly approached her and shook her drastically to wake her up.

"Unnie!!! What happen?! Wake up!!" Krystal noticed her sister's body temperature and color. She was all pale at the same time her temperature was high. She held her sister on her lap and tried to lift her up to transfer her somewhere comfortable to rest.

"You're having a high fever! Why were you lying in the kitchen floor!!! Have you lost your mind!?" Her eyes moistened looking at the figure in front of her all weak. It was her first time to see Jessica like this, because her big sister always put up an energetic and happy aura around her.

Jessica opened her eyes once she felt Krystal's presence. And to her surprise she saw her little sister crying because of worries at the same time anger. Jessica hurriedly tried to pull her body to comfort Krystal, but she was pushed down gently right away.

"Stop moving and just rest okay? I'm going to get some water and medicine for you" Krystal wiped her tears the moment she saw her big sister, being worried for her. She does not want to make her sad or troubled because of her right? Not at this state of her body. Sometimes, she's wondering as to how a big sister could be this kind and loveable towards their little sisters.

She felt a tug on the hem of her uniform and Krystal faced her sister right away.

"Soojung-ah! I'm sorry, I was trying to cook something for you. I thought I was okay, but I ended up fainting on the floor. Don't worry, I'm all fine now" Jessica showed a weak smile to her, but Krystal knew it was all an act how to put up a strong facade. She bit her lower lip wanting to stop her tears from coming out of her eyes, but she failed and embraced Jessica immediately.

"I was worried the moment I saw you, down on the floor Unnie!!!"

Jessica did her best to calm her little sister, by rubbing her back but Krystal just sobs harder. She knew why Krystal is like this, it was all because they've been living alone for a while together now. They've witnessed how exactly their parents died in front of them. Krystal was only 15 and Jessica was 20 back then. They both didn't understand as to why and how all of those things happened 5 years ago, they still can't believe this unfortunate event had came to them.

Although it's been 5 years, the thought of seeing your loved one laying on the floor unconsiously like before was the reason Krystal became emotional like this and Jessica knew it. Jessica felt stupid and regretting for worrying her little sister like this, maybe her body is starting to deteriorate due to a fact that she's been getting a lot of job lately.

She's promised herself that she won't let Krystal fall behind from her friends and classmates. She wanted to provide Krystal everything she wanted, go to school, have luxurious things, in short Jessica have been pampering Krystal ever since. She felt like she was responsible to give her little sister a happy life, no matter what. Because she does not want her to remember the sad, bitter and scariest event in her life again. But today, she had failed. She's been doing her best to put up a strong facade ever since, to become Krystal's pillar of strength. But right now, she felt useless how she became the reason as well as why Krystal remembered their drastic past.

"I'm sorry, Soo Jung. I'm fine now. Please don't worry. Your Unnie is just having a slight fever, don't cry now. I'm all right" She said with a calm voice trying to supress her true feelings once again.

"But still! Unnie, how can you let yourself get a fever! I was so worried, I thought... I thought--"

Krystal was lost of words how to express her thoughts related to her past, she knew Jessica had been wanting her to forget about their past. But right now, she just remembered everything again. She somehow felt a pang of pain in her heart when she saw Jessica's face full of regret as to why she did such a mistake after all her efforts of trying to make her happy. Krystal was aware how Jessica bear everything on her shoulder for the past 5 years, she was also aware to how awful she was back then treating her sister. She was rebelious before and remembering how she have hurt her big sister's heart before without apologizing till now, make her heart broken into pieces. All her big sister ever wanted was for her to be happy and forget the past, but she didn't reciprocate everything she did with goodness. She was sorry about it when she realized everything, but up until now she wasn't able to apologize because she's too embarrassed and shameful towards her actions before. She wanted to, but she can't find the words and courage to do so. But even if that's the case though, Jessica never treated her in a bad way. She was trying to understand Krystal, and she was doing her best for her.

"I'm sorry Soojung!" Jessica with tears building up in her eyes, tried to contain her emotions inside. But then again, her strong facade that she had built up from all these years broke when Krystal hugged her tightly showing how much she don't want to lose her too. Jessica had thought that she was all alone in this life's battle, but she was proven wrong. Right now, she knew and was sure, that Krystal appreciates her and will always be there for her.
