Kai’s POV

“Kim Hana, what are you doing?” I stepped into the kitchen to peer at what my sister was cooking.

She spun around and rushed over to me blocking my vision so that I wouldn’t be able to see what she was cooking.

“Sorry, oppa but you can’t see. It’s a surprise.” She giggled and led me out of the kitchen.

“Oh come on Hana. How can it be a surprise when you’re cooking it while I’m here?” I questioned.

The girl raised an eyebrow, “Then do you want to go out while I cook?”

“No,” I shortly replied.

She gave me a look, “See. So stop bothering me and let me cook in peace, alright?”

I rolled my eyes, “Fine.”

She laughed heartily and pecked my cheek, “You won’t be disappointed.”

I nodded, “I’ll hold you to that.”

She grinned as she lightly pushed me out of the kitchen, “Be a good boy and do your homework while I work on my masterpiece.”

“I completed my homework a few hours ago.”

“Do your revision!” She clucked her tongue in annoyance and went back to the kitchen.

CLASH!

I jolted awake from my nap and looked around groggily.

“Hana?” I called out.

“Everything is fine oppa! You don’t have to worry about anything!” Hana hollered from the kitchen.

She was definitely going to be the death of me one day. I let out a yawn and stretched out my arms over my head. I stood up and stretched my stiff body.

“Are you done yet?” I asked, rolling my shoulders back.

“Almost done,” she replied.

I rotated my neck. “O-okay.”  I looked over at my book and saw that it had been left open. I sat back down and continued with my reading.

After thirty minutes of reading, Hana stepped to sit beside me. She placed her head on my shoulder and heaved a sigh of relief.

I turned to look at her with my brow raised, “Tired?”

She nodded with her eyes closed.

I smiled as I crossed my legs and shifted my whole body to face my sister. “Aigoo, my baby sister has been working so hard to prepare dinner. Should I give her a reward?”

The ends of Hana’s lips curved upwards into a smile. “Oppa, you can do my homework for me.”

I rolled my eyes with a smile on my face knowing exactly what she wanted from me. “I’ll help you with it okay? Let’s go eat. I’m hungry.” I caressed her cheek.
