Hanbin.

“No news at all. Not a message or call, or even post from his socials.” “What should we do?”

“How would I know, we’re not that really close— used to be, actually. But like—” Sighed, Junhoe scooted away and stand up, putting both of his hands to his waist, showing the distress that he’s been suppressing. “I just don’t get it, you know. So many up things happening in this group man, I don’t even know how are we surviving this!” He exclaimed.

“Calm down, Junhoe. Don’t get up on your emotions. We all feel you but—” Jinhwan let out a deep breath, clutching on his chest and shaking his head in disappointment. “We all failed too. We know that in our life, we saw it.”

“—Alright, calm down, let’s just wait for the announcement or maybe Sajangnim’s update.” Donghyuk cut off Jinhwan, trying to lighten up the situation. “I know we are all stress out, but remember we can get through this all together if we just all try to center our peace, okay? We already gone through worse, what’s more of it?” He added.

“It’s not our fault, hyung. You know that!” Junhoe’s voice erupted the whole room. He’s all stress out, eye bags visibly showing up, his voice even shaking— the man is going through it and he couldn’t hide it no more. “I just—” Tears started to fall from his eyes. “I’m dealing of his loss too.”

“Junhoe!” Jinhwan stood up. He couldn’t believe it. How could he? Why would Junhoe say it out of all situations and places, why now, and why in front of this person.

“It’s because of B.I, right?”

Hanbin sat in silence, his thoughts swirling like a tempest within his mind. He listened to the heated exchange between Junhoe and Jinhwan, feeling the weight of their words pressing down on him like a heavy burden. His chest tightened with each mention of Jiwon, his absence a gaping wound that refused to heal.

He understood Junhoe's pain all too well. The ache of loss, the gnawing fear of the unknown – they were familiar companions to him. But he couldn't allow himself to unravel, not now. Not when the rest of the team relied on him to be their anchor in the storm.

Taking a deep breath, Hanbin pushed aside his own turmoil and rose to his feet. His expression was carefully neutral, betraying none of the turmoil churning beneath the surface. "We need to stay focused," he said, his voice steady despite the turmoil in his heart. "Jiwon's absence is concerning, but we can't afford to lose sight of our goal."

The room fell silent, the weight of his words hanging in the air like a heavy fog. For a moment, it seemed as though the tension would suffocate them all. But then, slowly, the others nodded in agreement, their resolve firming like steel.

"We'll find him," Donghyuk said, his voice quiet but resolute. "Together."

Hanbin nodded, a flicker of determination igniting in his chest. They may be battered and bruised, but they were far from defeated. As long as they stood united, there was nothing they couldn't overcome.

As the team delved deeper into their investigation, Hanbin couldn't shake the nagging questions that tugged at his mind like restless ghosts. Why would Jiwon, their trusted teammate, vanish without a trace? And more perplexing still, why would he choose to leave the team now, when they were on the brink of a breakthrough?

Anger simmered beneath the surface of Hanbin's stoic facade, a fierce flame that threatened to consume him whole. How could Jiwon abandon them like this, just when they needed him the most? But beneath the anger, there lingered a sense of confusion and hurt, a betrayal that cut deeper than any blade.

In the quiet moments between leads and suspects, Hanbin found himself dwelling on memories of Jiwon – the late-night arguments, the heated debates, the unspoken tension that had always crackled between them. He had started to feel as though he was finally getting to know the real Jiwon, the person behind the facade of indifference.

And now, faced with his sudden disappearance, Hanbin couldn't help but feel a pang of sadness at the thought of all that might have been. Had he missed some subtle sign, some hidden cry for help? Or had Jiwon simply grown tired of their constant clashes, of the never-ending cycle of conflict?

The questions swirled in Hanbin's mind like a maelstrom, threatening to drag him down into the depths of despair. But he couldn't afford to succumb to his doubts, not now. Jiwon was out there somewhere, and it was up to them to bring him home –
