Kyungsoo and Jongin immediately went out of the bus.

"Baby, let's just go find a taxi."

"You're right." 

So, the couple were on their way to the hospital on a taxi.

At the hospital, Baekhyun was sobbing outside the I.C.U.

"It will all right. Chanyeol hyung is a strong guy." Sehun patted Baekhyun's back.

"Chanyeol loves you so much. He wouldn't leave you."

Baekhyun continued sobbing as he buried his face in his palms.

Kyungsoo and Jongin came running with Kyungsoo holding Jongin's hand.

"Where's Chanyeol hyung?" 

"He's inside."

Kyungsoo's eyes softened at Baekhyun.

"Hey, Sehun. Why don't you bring Jongin inside?"

"Yeah, okay. Let's go see hyung." Sehun held Jongin's hand and led him inside the room.

"Baekhyun hyung..."

"I'm so weak, right? I can't even go inside without falling apart anymore." Baekhyun sighed.

"No, it's okay. It's okay to be weak once in a while. You're only human, hyung." Baekhyun hugged Luhan, who was still patting his back.

"Baekhyun..."

"Just let me hug you, hyung. I-I need this."

"Of course." Luhan hugged Baekhyun back as Kyungsoo also hugged the latter.

"Chanyeol hyung... he tried his very best, yeah?"

Baekhyun only nodded.

"He will need all the support he can get. But no matter how many people support him, if you're not one of them, it's useless." Luhan said, as he cupped Baekhyun's face.

Baekhyun nodded again as he bit his lip.

"And hyung..."

Baekhyun turned his face to Kyungsoo.

"Don't be afraid to fall apart. It's okay to be sad. If you want to break down, you can. Even if it's in front of Chanyeol hyung. Letting him know you're struggling isn't being weak. Because nobody is able to stand up after a rough fall without someone. Not even the strongest person can stand up in one go without aching. Let him know you're having hard times, he might be in a hospital bed and a little paralyzed but he can still hold your hand, right?" 

Baekhyun smiled and nodded again, more determined this time.

Inside the room, Jongin was seated next to Chanyeol.

"Hyung?"

"H-Hi J-Jongin. How are you?"

"I'm fine. Does anything hurt?"

"I'm okay. Though the life support hurts a little."

"How about a donor? Did you found a donor?"

"Unfortunately, we haven't." Chanyeol sighed.

"Well, that ." Jongin pouted which made Chanyeol chuckle.

"How about you? When are you going to get operated with your eyes?"

Chanyeol and Sehun smirked as Jongin's face brightened at the mention of his new eyes.

"Well, they say we can start next week so Kyungsoo and I are arranging our schedules."

"That's great."

But then, Jongin's mood went dark again as he frown.

"Jongin, what's wrong?"

"Hyung, I'll be having my operation next week..."

"Yeah, you just told me." Chanyeol chuckled.

"I-I want to see you there when I opened my eyes."

Sehun bit his lip to prevent himself from crying.

"Jongin..."

"I-I want to see you, hyung!"

"Jongin." Sehun hugged Jongin as the latter was shaking.

"I want to see your creepy grin, your weird hairstyle, your big ears, I want to see you!"

The room was filled with silence at Jongin's outburst.

"I want to see Chanyeol hyung happy. I want to see hyung happy with the one he loves, Baekhyun hyung."

Chanyeol laughed as tears were streaming down his cheeks.

"Why are you laughing?"

"I'll be there."

"Y-You will?" Sehun was shocked.

"I'll try to be there, Jongin. So make sure the operatiom is successful." 

"I will!"

Sehun sighed as Chanyeol smiled bitterly.

"Oh and Chanyeol hyung..."

"What?"

"About Baekhyun hyung..."

Chanyeol tilted his head to the side to show confusion even though Jongin won't be able to see it.

"He's struggling a lot." 

Chanyeol looked down as he sighed.

"I know. He doesn't show it but I know him enough to point out that it's hard for him. Should I push him away?"

"No, never push him away." Sehun shooked his head, frustratingly.

"What I meant is, can you hug him when you know he's close to breaking down?"

"He doesn't actually come near me when he's close to crying so it's going to be hard doing that." Chanyeol sighed.

"I know my baby will fix that." Jongin smiled proudly which made the two smirk.

"What do you mean by that?"

"Kyungsoo and I talked in the taxi. He will talk to Baekhyun hyung about showing your weakness is okay. I mean, he won't be human if he doesn't need a person once in a while." Jongin shrugged.

"Hmm. Jongin's right, hyung. Kyungsoo hyung is good at putting sense in oneself's mind." Sehun nodded in agreement.

"What do you mean by that?"

"Well, Lu and I are practically okay now." Sehun shrugged.

"Oh, thank God. You were a mess that time." Chanyeol smiled 

"I'm sorry for worrying you, hyung." Sehun scratched the back of his neck.

"It's okay. You worry about me more than I did." Chanyeol grinned.

The three's conversation was cutted when the door opened.

The door revealed Baekhyun was furiously wiping his tears with Luhan and Kyungsoo at the back.

"Baek? Hey, come here."

Baekhyun ran to Chanyeol and hugged him.

"Ouch." Chanyeol muttered.

"I'm sorry, did it hurt?!"

"No, it's okay." Chanyeol pulled Baekhyun in a hug again.

"Be strong, Chan. Be strong for me."

"I will, Baek. Be strong for me too, yeah?"

Baekhyun nodded.

"I love you."

"I love you too."

Kyungsoo noticed Jongin standing up and holding unto thin air so he held his arm and pulled Jongin towards him.

"Hey there, handsome. Where are you going?"

"To my baby." Jongin said as he interlaced his fingers with Kyungsoo's.

"Why are you so cheesy?" Kyungsoo whined.

"Because you love me." Jongin put his tongue out.

"So... about that operation next week."

"So when?"

"On Thursday, I have a free time."

"So Thursday?"

"Yeah, Thursday."

Jongin nodded.

"I'm excited."

"Really?"

"Yeah, you'll be studying at SM Arts and Theather again."

"Yah, you're excited just because of that?" Jongin pouted.

"I don't know. You love that school since the very beginning even though you were bullied so..."

"I don't care if I'll get back there or not. I want to see again so I can protect you."

"You always do."

"No, I don't. It's Sehun nowadays." Jongin groaned.

"I want to protect you too."

"You always did. It's my turn to return the favor." Jongin patted Kyungsoo's nose.

"Stop patting my nose!" 

"That was your nose? Oops." 

"Aish." 

"Come here." Jongin opened his arms wide.

Kyungsoo went in Jongin's embrace.

"I love you, Jongie."

"I love you too, my baby." Jongin kissed Kyungsoo's head.
