I’m waiting for Jongin in my house. I’m wearing a soft pink blouse and my skinny jeans with my broken white flat shoes. I don’t do anything to my hair, I just let it fall naturally. I just apply a soft make up. I check myself in front of the mirror for the last time, I am afraid that I don’t suit with Jongin because he is the epitome of perfection. The bell of my house is ringing, I grab my purse and I rush down to the front door. I calm my breath first, don’t want Jongin knows that I ran from my bedroom to the door. I tidy up my hair and my blouse before I open the door. When I open it, there he is. Jongin with his hair push the side, revealing a bit of his forehead, he’s wearing a white shirt with plaid on it, his jeans just reach his ankle, and sneakers. With just casual outfit, he already looks stunning. I forget to breathe the moment I see him in front of my eyes.

“Hey! Are you ready? Should we go now?” He greeted me with smile. “Oh, I am ready. Wait, I grab my key first.” I rush to the table in the living room and grab my key. I locked the door and turn to where Jongin stand. I still can’t believe I’m going to spend my day with him. “Let’s go!” I said.

“You look pretty, the color of your blouse suits you well.” He said shyly and I can see him blushing. I don’t believe what I just heard, did he say I am pretty? I am blushing right now. “Thank you. You look great, too.” I replied, I don’t know what to say because I am so nervous right now. I can feel my heart racing again, like usual. We go to the book sale by bus. “How long have you been live in that neighborhood?” I asked him because I have lived there since I was born and I never know he is one of my neighbor. “I just moved actually, last month.” He said. “Oh, that’s why I never see you around.” I nodded. “Do you like books?” I asked him because he asked me out to the book sale. I don’t hate it instead I love it. I love to read books and maybe I can find any of medical books. “I like to read. Especially mystery and like detective series. How about you?” He said, “Me too. I like to read since I was a kid. I like to read detective series, too.” I replied, happy to know that we have same interest in books.

We arrived at the bookstore that having a sale, but unfortunately the sale has over. Jongin is so embarrassed because he read the date wrongly. “I am sorry, I thought today is the last day. I was wrong when I see the date. I am so sorry.” He apologize to me. I found it so cute when he embarrassed, I never knew he could be this cute beside he is so manly and cold outside. “It’s okay, Jongin. You don’t need to apologize. We can still look inside even though it’s not sale.” I give him a genuine smile. We enter the bookstore and start to look to the books. Jongin seems so serious when he search for the book he’s going to buy. Again, I admire him from head to toe. How can be someone looking so perfect?

We bought several books. After that, we decided to go to a café. I order green tea latte and hot chocolate for him.

“So, have you decided about the college? Last time I asked you said you haven’t,” I asked him.

“I have. I already search some and I found two of them.”

“Oh, really? What are they? What major will you take?” I asked him with so much interest that I don’t realize that I look so excited in this.

He chuckled before answer my question, “The first one is Seoul Performing Arts University and the second one is abroad, in America. I will be taking dance. I want to be a professional dancer.” He said. When I heard him said the second one is in America, I feel someone hit my heart so hard that I feel hurt. I pushed myself to smile, even though I am not okay. I don’t know why, I just feel that If he goes to America, I won’t see him ever again.

“Good to know that. I never know you dance,” I smile and I know my smile isn’t the genuine one but I try. “Do you prefer the first one or the second one?” I asked him hoping he’ll said the first one.

“The second one actually. There’s an amazing dancer there and I really want to be one of his student.” He answered me with sparks in his eyes, he really wants to go there.

Again, I feel my heart hurt again. Why am I feeling this way? I’m not even his girlfriend, why do I feel like this? Like he will leave me here alone. “It’s good then. You must be very good in dance then. If you said so, just apply there and go reach your dream.” I finally can smile from my heart even it hurts so much. After I saw the sparks in his eyes, I know that he really want to go there. He wants to be a professional dancer and that is the way.

“Yeah, I’m going to apply. I am working on my dance to send it together with the forms. That’s why I can’t join you guys when you hangout. And, that’s the reason why I absent yesterday.” He said.

He is so serious and he is so determined to go there. I must be happy and support him, as his friend for now. “Good then. Hope one day I can see you dance. Invite me into your shows once you become a professional dancer. I want free tickets with good seats.” I jokingly said to him and I need to let him go if he’ll go to America.

“Of course. You will be the first person I invite personally.” He said and we laugh together.

We continue to talk in the café until the night come. We didn’t realize that we’ve spent so much time in that café. We decided to go to Italian restaurant before we both are craving for pasta and pizza for dinner. When we arrived in the restaurant, we saw So Eun and her family. I am a dead meat right now. So Eun gave me the look and manage to keep calm when she approached our table.

“Hey, you guys! We meet here.” So Eun greeted us. “Hey, So Eun!” I hugged her and whisper, “I know, I will call you and explain everything once I reached home.” I release from our hug. “Hey! Want to join?” Jongin asked So Eun. “No, I’m with my family there,” she pointed to her table, “you both just enjoy the dinner, I just want to say Hi. Bye, I’ll be going.” She gave us a smile and waved. She walked away but turn again to see me. She mouthing, “DON’T FORGET TO CALL ME!” Again, it’s not a reminder but an order. She doesn’t mad at me because I don’t tell her, but I know she’s curious why I ended up with Jongin tonight.

We order a pasta and a pizza. The portion in this restaurant is so big, so we decided to order it together. Glad to know that we have the same taste in both pizza and pasta. Come to my sense that we have so many similarities and I am so happy with it.

“Do you have a free time on Wednesday after school?” He asked me nervously. I feel at joy again, I immediately answer, “I am free on that day, why?” I tried to keep calm.
