Miyu stared at the brilliant red gem on her ring, then she checked the ring and underneath it, she saw some initials...

Miyu felt cold, she couldn't understand what Yuto was saying. Or maybe, she just didn't want to understand him. She? An acting CEO and daughter of an influential man? It was just crazy.

“And I'm your fiancee... I'm Nakajima Yuto, don't you really remember me?” Yuto asked. This made Miyu even more dizzy that earlier, she can't even remember the guy's name and now he claims to be her fiancee?

“Wait... What?” she voiced, holding her head like it was going to crack open if she doesn't.

“Our families were close even before we were born, and we were best friends since child birth. Our parents decided that it'll be good for our families and the business to have us marry when we're in the right age... And we didn't complain since we both love each other. I studied in Europe to get myself ready to take hold of the business once we're married and I just came home... I thought it'll be all better, that it'll all turn out okay but...”

Yuto held Miyu's face gently and he made her look into his eyes. She saw so much love in them, he need not speak to tell her how important she is to him because just by staring back into those calm orbs of his was enough statement.

“I thought I'd lost you...”

“But... What happened? Why am I here and why isn't anyone looking for me?” she asked now with eyes full of tears.

“We thought you were dead.” he stated as he brushed the fallen tears from her cheeks.

“Why?”

“You were kidnapped Mirai... And then when they tried to rescue you from the kidnappers, the car that took you got into an accident and... and...” his voice trailed off and tears were already starting to accumulate in the corner of his eyes as well.

“Everything was totally burnt and we couldn't identify the bodies on the car. But there was a body of a woman your age, wearing the necklace I gave you... Everyone thought it was you that's why no one tried to look for you anymore... We were mourning, Mirai.” he said still holding on to her face like it was his lifeline.

“I was with Raiya, my brother, checking out one of our business' branch in that department store where I saw you... And it was like a miracle.”

He laughed, and relief was evident in his voice then. He looked back at her and kissed her forehead.

“I finally found you... I missed you so much Mirai.” and that's when he hugged her tight making her cry her eyes out.

It was too much, too much for her to bear. Is this really real? She thought. It was like reading through a television drama script, the only difference is that it's happening to her.

“Mirai, let's go home...” his eyes searched her face and he looked at her with all the compassion there is to give.

He's different than Ryosuke. Way too different that Ryosuke but...
