Do you actually know what's ironic about loving someone?

It is when she keeps on finding somebody who can make her heart beat faster, but ends up having her heart broken and shattered into pieces instead. 

And what makes it worse is that you have to see her completely broken, asking what went wrong about her. In fact, nothing is wrong about her. It’s just that, she fell for the wrong guys. Everything did not just go well right from the start.

But then here I am, his self-proclaimed knight in shining armor, who can’t do anything but to cheer her up. Still, like a fool, hoping that one day, she’ll see me as who I am. Not as her best friend, but someone who’s loving her right all along the beginning.

Ironic, isn’t it?
