~Flashback~

The two have been best friends and they do everything together. They met one summer when Angel was enrolled in a summer workshop. She kinda enrolled late and was out of place when the class started. She was really focused on their artwork for the day when
"Hi" he said
"Hi" she replied
"I’m Donghae" the boy said, smiling
"I’m Angel" she replied shyly.
"What are you making?" He asked, taking the empty seat beside Angel "I’m making a card for my mom" she said
"It looks nice" the then said. The art class went on with the two of them talking. The next day was the same except when Angel entered the room, Donghae saved the seat beside him for her. She smiled when she saw Donghae and then the two got closer and closer that they are inseparable. The end of summer workshop came and their moms met. Angel also met Donghae’s older brother, Donghwa who was really nice to her. The two hit it off after summer workshop; they would often meet at the park, go ride their bikes, and when summer ended, they were enrolled in the same school for fall. Due to Angel’s wit, she got in a lever higher that she should and she got lucky again to be in the same class as Donghae for the whole term. Donghae saved the seat beside him and the two were just in their own world, passing papers, talking amongst themselves and even copying each others’ work. By lunch they would eat together and he would be a gentleman and let Angel go first.

The years were good to them and when puberty kicked in, changes were made. His voice became deep, his shoulders became broad and he grew a few inches while Angel began to take shape, her s formed as well and she also grew a few inches. That summer, the two were spending their afternoon at the beach "Hey Angel..."
"Yeah?"
"I need to tell you something..."
"What is it?" She asked and looked at him
"Well..." he started, but he was cut off by someone "Hi!" She said
"Oh...hi...Cassie"
"So uhm were having a bonfire in a few, would you like to join us?"
"Uhm.. Well" he started
"The boys are gonna be there too so you won’t get a left out I promise" Cassie said again
"Yeah Hae, why don’t you go?" Angel asked
"Angel..."
"You can come too if you want" Cassie said to Angel and left.
"See? Your baby Cassie said I can go" Angel teased, poking Donghae on the arm
"Stop... she isn’t my anything" Donghae said, lying down the sand. Angel suddenly was quiet then "oh my god, it’s Nick" she
hissed
"Nick? The one that sat next to you on fourth grade Nick?"
"Yes.. and Hae you have got to admit he’s hot" she said, looking at Nick
"What? Nick? Hot? Are you okay? Is the heat getting to you?" Donghae asked, fanning Angel with his hand. They were quiet once again when a Frisbee landed just near them, Nick then came by and noticed Angel and Donghae. "Hey Angel" he said
"Hi" she then replied
"So some of my friends are going over Cassie’s bonfire, are you two coming?"
"Actually..." Donghae started
"Yeah.. were gonna drop by" Angel continued
"Great! I guess I’ll see you later, Angel"
"Okay..." Angel said and then Nick left. "OH MY GOD DID YOU JUST HEAR WHAT HE SAID?" Angel asked, or whispershouted
"Yes.. and why did you tell him were going?"
"Because Cassie will be there and so is Nick. So like this is our chance.. come on Hae... be a sport"
"Yeah okay sure" Donghae said.
The sun then was gone before they knew it and the two waited for the bonfire to get going before they head on there themselves.
They sat on a mat just farthest from the fire and they were facing each other. "Oh my goooood. He just took his shirt off, Hae"
"Will you stop that, people will hear you"
"I’m just complimenting his body"
"Psh, he isn’t that toned Angel. My abs are better than his"
"Yeah, whatever"
The two ended up spending a half an hour in the bonfire before they head back home, Donghae dropped Angel off and he went in
to have a bite of whatever Angel’s mom offers and then he went back home. Donghae failed at his mission today but he must not fail again, he needs to tell Angel the big news before its too late. With food in hand, he goes to Angel’s place and asks for her. Angel then was left alone with him "Hey uhm... I need to tell you something."
"What is it?" Angel asked. With a deep breath he said "I’m sorry"
"Sorry for what?" Angel asked but he didn't answer "Why are you saying sorry?" she asked again but the boy was in tears before he could speak.

A/N : This one and the next one will be flashbacks. The next one will be all about Angel. :3
