Chanhee flopped down on the sofa in their studio. “That Byung! He’s always so exasperating…”

Niel laughed, moving to his desk and getting ready to resume work.

“But I didn’t know you knew him, Niel.”

“He is not my classmate though but He is very famous you know. He compete with Minsoo during Summer Camp back then.

“Top Academy?”

“Yeah. Me and Jonghyun enrolled too. Minsoo entered in Rapping category during Summer Camp while Jonghyun in Dance. I entered in voice category with Minhyun, I think he might met him too. They were both quite great in Rapping category. Everyone thought Ljoe will won but CAP bet him by a single point. After the ceremony I have never heard about Ljoe until he became famous in America.

“I see.” Chanhee sighed. “No wonder He is rude and bitter towards Minsoo. All that attention in school must have really gone to his head. Unfortunately He got bet up by Minsoo” Chanhee laughed and went to his own table.

Niel twirled his pencil, staring at the designs in front of him. “You’ve known Ljoe long?”

“Too long, maybe. I’ve known him since we were kids. Our fathers were best of friends and the family sort of follows.”

“Hmm. Makes sense. Not surprising, since you’re so rich and Ljoe is too.”

“Only I’m not as bratty as he is.” Chanhee looked over at Niel.

His thick lip partner looked up, pencil mid- on the paper.  “You do that sometimes too, Chanhee.”  

“But not as often as Byung do! I swear, sometimes I think I’m just half bratty.”

“Only half?” chuckled Niel.

“Yeah.coz your the other half.” Chanhee winked, and best friends laughed. “But Ljoe aside,” continued Chanhee. “How was lunch? Did you have fun?”

“Mm. Yeah,” replied Niel.

“Maybe we should invite Minsoo to lunch more often…”

Niel cast a look at Chanhee. “O-kay. What’s this about?”

Chanhee’s big doe eyes glinted. “Well, he’s pleasant to have around. And you certainly enjoy having him there.”

“Chanheeee…”

Chanhee have been open about being gay since their university days and Niel have been slowly opening about it just recently. So Chanhee being a nice best friend wants to help in out.

“Oh, come, dear. I think there’s really something there. It’s not very obvious, but sometimes – sometimes – there’s this way he looks at you…”

“Just because he looks at me a certain way sometimes doesn’t mean anything,” said Niel. “Though I wish it was true, I just can’t believe it unless he actually says something first. For now, we’re just friends.” A slightly pained look crossed his face at the last sentence, but Niel returned to the dress he was designing, concentration seemingly doubled.

Chanhee watched his best friend draw and wished that Minsoo would say something to Niel.
