All Because a Cup of Coffee
Sehun fell onto his couch with a content sigh, smiling as he remembered the boy in the coffee shop. "Hm...strange..." He said to himself, crossing his legs and hanging his head back. "I didn't think anybody even lived there. Does that mean he can smell my paints?"
"Sehun!" Boah called from the hall, pounding her small, delicate hand on the door. "Sehun you open this door right now!"
Sehun sighed as he trudged to the door, opening it quickly and avoiding her gaze. "What?"
"What is this?" She snapped, holding up a broken and torn canvas. "What have I told you about throwing your canvases around the apartment?"
"To not to, but-"
"I swear if I find one more broken canvas around your apartment, I will add onto your rent for the labor you're putting me through!" She warned, wagging her red polished finger, her many bracelets jangling an echo down the hall. "Plus, you're wasting your own money! I know you get paid for all the exhibits or whatever, but every won saved is won you can put towards your move."
"Boah!" Sehun interrupted, putting his hand in her face to cease her. "I'm fully aware of everything that goes on and frankly, I could care less about the rabble living in this complex. But even though you told me not to throw them, did I not tell you that as an artist, I expect privacy in order to work? Now give me that back, I think I can turn that into a sculpture..."
"Sehun," Boah sighed, handing over the shattered wood and ripped canvas. "Just...don't get too crazy. You know I have to clean all the rooms..." She added, looking down the hallway to find the source of the shuffling sound.
Sehun peeked his head out to find Luhan smiling at Boah. "Ah, hello Luhan!" He smiled, grabbing his attention. Boah walked silently down the hall towards the staircase, shooting a dirty look to Sehun before walking back down to the front desk. "Well, the coffee you made for me was delicious. Thank you for that." He smiled casually, leaning against the doorframe.
Luhan swallowed dryly, offering a slight bow as he took out his keys with a shaky hand and attempted to unlock his apartment. "I'm glad you think so highly of my coffee..." He whispered, his voice high and dry.
"Oh, I have your mug, by the way. Would you like it back?"
"N-No, that's okay. You can keep it..." He said hurriedly, walking into his apartment and quickly closing the door. Sehun stood in the empty hallway, staring at Luhan's door.
"Well, I hope to see you tomorrow..." He mumbled, walking back into his apartment and looking at the broken canvas. "Now, what kind of sculpture will you be?"
