A fine-looking young lady has undergone some handful situation as her little one kept shedding tears by overnight. She and the babysitter were having tough time dealing with the baby, because he hasn’t uttered anything he wanted then they was desperate to know. The man of the house was abroad since a few days, and that pre-lunch, her phone rang out of the blue. She didn’t expect any call from anyone, turned out, it was from him.

“Hunnie…”

“Suzy-yah— Eh… Is Kai still weeping?”

“Uh-huh…” She took it to the hallway, outside the bedroom. “Aren’t you like just called me an hour ago? What is it, Hunnie?”

“Wait, have you checked his temperature?”

“Yes, he’s fine. I already make sure that he has no fever.”

“Hunnie, why are you calling? You said you’re having a seminar—“

“Can I ask you a favor?”

“Do you love me?”

“Suzy?”

Suzy noticed Kai looked so pale, even his voice had become hoarse. She was intending to leave quickly. Nonetheless, she couldn’t help but asked, “Are you okay?”

“I can take you to the hospital.”

“No, thank you.”

There was a very uncomfortable silence occurred then.

“Oh God… Pardon my disrespect, you want to come in?”

Kai welcomed Suzy to come in, as he opened the entrance to some extent, yet she hurriedly rejected the offer.

“No, I have to head back home.”

By the moment she stated that, the little Kai got awakened, and noticed the man he and his mother were fronting. The boy suddenly offered his tiny arms to be held by Kai. He was asking for a carry from the older.

“Maybe next time, dear… He’s unwell now, he should take some rest.”

Kai added what Suzy spoken to the baby, and soon he waved them farewell. By the time they both walked further on the corridor to the elevator, the little boy started wailing. Kai who was looking at him being carried by the young lady he actually longed for, rushed came within reach from the threshold. Suzy got startled when Kai seized the little one from her grip.

“Daaaddyyyyy!!!”

The baby’s wailing has gotten louder. Hitherto, she contemplated about the way her boy called the actual father. However, it was the single word he mastered of.

Suzy required some fresh air, by way of she was indeed couldn’t be with him at the moment.

She ended going to a grocery store in the neighborhood, after a while of driving around with no direction. It was a coincidence that she chose to bring the vehicle by herself on that day. She finally bought a lot of stuff to stock what necessary for the condo. When she was back there again, no one was answering her buzz. Suzy found Kai was asleep on the couch with the little boy next to him, snoozing as well. It was the sight that she actually always dreamt of. Suzy kneeled in front of the man that was on his bended laps, the minute she grasped it was Kai. But, they soon cracked out loud as they realized what a stupid thing just occurred therein.

“Those men in your house are useless, if you can react like that…”

And their chortle resumed all the way through. Suzy offered a hand to Kai, but the young man wouldn’t let her go even when he was stable on his feet.

“Kai…”

Suzy tried to unbind from him, but his grip was too steady.

“I don’t want to.”

He seemed so serious about what he spoken. She identified it from his dark eyes.

“What do you mean you don’t—“

Even so she hasn’t finished the sentence, Kai has sealed her lips with his. Suzy sharply shoved him with her entire strength. However, Kai still seizing her hands and cornered her to the wall. He looked deeply into hers.

“Are you sure? What was that, Kai?! I bet you didn’t know…”

He slowly loosened the grip and she released it from him.

Donghae was in the main entrance when Kai got into the mansion, he held the young man that looked drained.

“I want to see her.” Kai said to the older.

“Hold on, you’re not looking very well…” Donghae assumed from the weary look of the tanned one.

“Please… I-I… I need to see her.”

One way or another, Donghae comprehended the imperative situation. He fetched the mademoiselle from the boudoir.

Kai hastily seized Suzy, as soon as she went down the central stairs with the most trustworthy guard. She, then, compulsorily letting go his strong grip, as they unexpectedly came to pass in the desolate lawn.

She yelled and he quickly grabbed her shoulder.

“I know you can’t fulfill my earlier demand, but you gotta answer this one…”
