I’ve seen clumsy but this.. this was on a completely different scale 

Just standing here I’m replaying the events in my head and it’s closer to harassment or attempted murder than a accident 

Gotta Run it through my mind just to make sense of it 

We were at the stall with the plushies. we handed over the cash it takes to play the basketball game 

So far so good. No blood in sight 

Lining up at the pre marked position and Baekhyun draws back his arm 

Okay. No concerns are raised 

Just as he is about to release the ball from his grip the elderly couple in the stall next to us; let out the most panic gasp I’ve ever heard. Somehow the elderly man had released the bat and it was hurling towards the side of Baekhyun’s head. 

I barely had time to duck let alone warn Baekhyun to move before hearing that “thunk” signally that he indeed had been hit 

Seeing Baekhyun immediately curl up to the ground rolling around in pain then not a second later having Kai’s and luhan’s phone shoved in his face 

“ DAMNNNN HE GOT KNOCKED TF OUTTTTTT “ it’s almost as if luhan had waited almost all his life to say that line

OMG BAEKHYUN ARE YO— being interrupted  by luhan make me want to set a small village on fire

“ I heard that line from a movie once,  been waiting to say it forever! Sorry Baek it isn’t personal buddy“  luhan yet again blurted out 

alright that’s it. Luhan’s gotta go. Grabbing him by the ear and dragging him down to the ground followed by a swift kick to the gave luhan the Justice he so rightly deserves. 

Kai was much harder to get a hold of than luhan but once I got my hands on him I brought him to the ground:  stored his phone in my pocket , head phones, his walkie talkie and rechargeable battery pack.

Now here we are at a boba shop with an ice pack resting on the top of Baekhyun’s head right where the bat hit us. Sitting at the counter watching as one half of the elderly couple with the loose grip helped attend to Baekhyun knot while the other went to buy us a treat from the street food cart ; I was brought back to everything with a tap on the shoulder.

“ Hello deary, so sorry to irrupt your date with your boyfriend. Please accept this a small gesture “ with a face like that I couldn’t be mad at the older lady for hitting Baekhyun. She is so cute

Not bothering to correct her about Baekhyun not actually being my boyfriend we sat and chat a bit more. I’m a er for a cute old lady 

“ your boyfriend is very handsome a bit fragile but aren’t they all at that stage” I couldn’t help but chuckle at the expense of Baekhyun. 

“ don’t I know it ! My cousin’s best friend is weaker than my 4 year brother “  

It’s true. All it takes is a pinch of Luhan’s ear and he is crying in a corner.

 falling into a comfortable conversation before I felt a arm slink around my waist.  

“ well well well what do we have here ? first you hit me then you steal my date ??”  Baekhyun says with an amused look plastered on his face along with a cute band-aid on his brow. You can hardly tell his face was recently on the pavement 

“ oh ! I guess you are right! I don’t want to disturb your date any further than my husband and I already have. Thank you again!  Good evening” with a cute wave she wandered of back to the food cart with her husband. 

“ I can’t believe that I was knocked to the ground after stealing you away from a group date that if I might add ; wasn’t even a date for more than half the group. Kai payed more attention to be tonight than my 2 years of knowing him” letting everything out with a big sigh Baekhyun took that moment to look up at the stars in the sky. 

Reaching out for my hand. Baekhyun intertwines our fingers 

Something about Baekhyun looking up at the stars almost had me in a trance. He truly is breathtaking. 

talented, sweet, dedicated and very handsome. I can see why Milo is so captured by him.

 I forgot all about having Kai’s phone and other gear in my pocket. Shooting a quick text to luhan to send Jongin our way I’m a bit curios on why whomever texted him has a different notification alert than the standard alert

Everyone that he typically hangs out with is already here....well everyone but a certain girl

Even though Baekhyun and I are talking all I can think about is his notification
