• DARA •

 

The drive isn't long. It only takes about ten minutes before chaerin stops the car in front of what seemed to be a fancy-looking hotel.

 

"chae-" I begin to say, suddenly feeling uneasy.

 

"Hey," sHe flashes me a reassuring smile and leans over to plant a quick kiss on my lips. "It's just for the night. You know, for you to settle down and escape everything that's going on. I promise nothing's going to happen."

 

"What if I want something to happen." I blurt before I even realize what I'd said.

 

chaerin's eyes widen and she just stares at me for a while, unsure of how to respond.

 

I feel myself blush. I look down at my hands, afraid that staring back at chaerin will only cause me to blush deeper.

 

I feel something take my hand, squeezing it. It's chaerin's hand.

 

"Nothing's going to happen." sHe repeats. "It's..." sHe pauses. "Not the right time."

 

I nod and begin to open the door, the conversation becoming awkward. "I hope the room's aren't to expensive." I say, holding to change the subject.

 

chaerin hops out of the car as well and walks over to take my hand and leads me towards the entrance.

 

"Don't worry," sHe tells me. "It's all on me." Once inside, chaerin checks in and we head up to our room. No. It wasn't a room. It was Suite. I couldn't help but gasp when I stepped through the door.

 

A single, well-made, king-sized bed with rose petals scattered across the top sat in the center of the room, a nightstand with a gorgeous lamp beside it. The window was pretty big as well, the curtains red and beautiful. In front of the bed sits a table with a basket full of assorted cookies, a liter bottle of coke beside it. The TV was hard to miss as well.

 

My jaw must have still been hanging open because chaerin gently closed it using her index finger.

 

"This is usually the couple's suite," sHe explains, motioning toward the petal-covered bed. "You know, where married couples stay at. They didn't have any other suites available so I just took this one."

 

I nod, admiring the table with the cookies. "What about the cookies?"

 

chaerin grins and walks over to them. "That's all me." sHe says proudly. "This table would normally be covered in wine and alcohol, but since we're underage..." sHe shrugs. "I just ordered cookies."

 

I smile and stand on my tippy-toes to place a kiss on chaerin's cheek. "I love it."

 

sHe blushes and drapes an arm me. "Good. Then it was all worth it." sHe kisses my forehead and pokes my stomach with her index finger. "What do you think about watching a little television and then going to sleep?"

 

I can tell my the look on her face that she seemed slightly tired so I nodded even though I felt wide awake. Maybe I'll be sleepy by the time we finish watching television.

 

Before I react, I notice chaerin pulling her white oversize t- shirt off and pushing it into my hands.

 

"I forgot to bring us clothes." chaerin tells me sheepishly. "But you can wear my shirt to bed. I wasn't going to sleep in it anyways."

 

"Thanks." I manage, my eyes scanning over her abs . I couldn't help but flash back to the time she'd taken me to that waterpark before I left to come here.

 

"Um," I tear my eyes away and head to the bathroom. "Imma just go change."

 

I bite my lip and close the bathroom door behind me, quickly ripping my shirt off my head and sliding on chaerin's. It fell down to my knees so I decided to take off my jeans as well. I mean, it's not really the most comfortable thing to sleep in jeans.

 

Once done, I neatly placed my clothes next to the sink and excited the bathroom. chaerin was already on the bed and flipping through the channels on the tv. I had pause for a second when I realized she'd taken off her pants and was only in underware. I wasn't surprised. . You know, other girls only sleep with underware. But seeing chaerin like that caused butterflies to explode in my stomach.

 

When she saw me, she patted the spot next to her on the bed, motioning for my to join. I did. I walked over and slide in beside her , cuddling into her abs. sHe wraps an arm around me, holding me close.

 

chaerin had stopped the tv on The Vampire Diaries. I have to admit, I was becoming sick of that show. I think I've seen every episode at least twice. How is chaerin not sick of it?

 

I turn my head up to look at her but she's too intrigued by the show to notice.

 

I begin to trace circles on her legs with my finger.

 

"chae?" I whisper softly. sHe looks down and I bat my eyelashes, stretching my neck and puckering my lips. chaerin gets the message and leans down, her lips meeting mine.

 

It's a slow kiss at first, only our lips moving. I place my hand behind her neck and pull her closer, deepening the kiss. her tongue traces my bottom lip, begging for entrance. I open my mouth and let out tongue collide as I crawl on top of her , not breaking the kiss.

 

About ten minutes into out make-out session, chaerin moans.

 

"dara?"

 

"Mmm?" I reply, not wanting to break the kiss but chaerin had already done so, her forehead resting against mine and our breathing hard. "I think, I think we should go to bed now." sHe cheeks are red and she's shifting uncomfortably, having a hard time meeting my eyes.

 

I raise an eyebrow. "What's wrong?"

 

"Nothing." sHe blurts, shaking her head and still blushing. "Nothing."

 

"chaerin-" I begin when I look down, I realize what's going on. "You're-"

 

sHe cuts me off. "Shut up!"

 

A giggle escapes my lips and I lean my head on her shoulder. "Sorry." I bite my lip, holding back another giggle.

 

chaerin, still embarrassed, flips off the tv and allows me to cuddle close to her in the darkness.

 

"I love you." I inform her , finding her hand and squeezing it.

 

Even in the darkness, I know her embarrassment was replaced with a smile.

 

her thumb rubs against the back of my hand and I feel her lips on my forehead. "I love you too."

A ray of sunlight shines through the window the next morning, causing me to wake up. I squint and sit up, yawning and rubbing at my eyes. For a moment, I had forgotten where I was. Then I remembered. I was in a hotel with chaerin.

 

chaerin.

 

I open my eyes wider to see chaerin pacing back and forth in front of the bed, a worried look on her face.

 

"What's wrong?" I ask, my voice groggy from just waking up.

 

chaerin, realizing I was awake, sighs and runs a hand through her hair. "Thank god you're awake."

 

I crinkle my eyebrows. "CL, are you ok?"

 

sHe squeezes her eyes shut and takes a seat on the corner of the bed, not answering my question.

 

I frown. "CL, you're scaring me."

 

sHe looks over at me and reaches over, strangling me in a hug. I couldn't help but feel confused. It wasn't even the good kind of hug. It was the everything's-going-to-be-ok kind of hug.

 

"chaerin-ah," I mumble. "What is up with you?" I can feel her breath on my ear as she finally answers the question.

 

"I don't know what happened and I don't have any details. I found out this morning and was waiting for you to wake up to tell you. Heck," sHe sighs. "I don't know how to tell you, but..." sHe pauses. "Your aunt was involved in a car accident."
