yoooo guys :)

this isn't an actual story in and of itself - it's an accompaniment to a story i wrote for a contest, Chasing Rainbows, to give background information about the characters and their lives, in case anyone was interested in ~investigating~ after reading the entirety of the story.

if you haven't read the story yet, i suggest you do so! there might be spoilers in here so definitely check out the story first (although i'm not entirely sure what constitutes as spoilers??? idek)

these profiles were originally written to help with character development but then i got carried away with all sorts of details that i couldn't fit in the story. i'm actually considering writing a couple spin-offs, maybe based on jongdae and tao's lives apart from luhan and sehun, or baekhyun and kyungsoo or something. but either way, here's their lives as i envisioned them, for you to enjoy!

i tried to order them from what i thought was "most interesting" to "not as interesting" because to me all the characters are intriguing in their own rights :) i thought a lot of people would appreciate more emphasis on the dynamic of the "original five" that grew up together in the story - sehun, luhan, jongdae, tao, and jongin. this includes a lot of details of their interactions during childhood and beyond!

there's also a general "story fun facts" chapter. it has some stuff i eventually took out in order to cut down on redundancy and some stuff that offers a few clarifications to the overlying themes of the story, although some (most) of them could probably be surmised by themselves.
