Nature's Bliss Is My Curse
Description
In a world where your soul mate is predetermined by a tattoo there is what is called "perfect love". Most end up marrying the person with the identical tattoo, it's seen as the worst thing in the universe when someone's other half isn't discovered. But a certain girl wants no part in this, she hates the fact that her love is already chosen for her; her future locked in. So when she discovers her soul mate she refuses him, much easier said than done. Especially when he's a popular idol.
Foreword
The entire story is already pre-written and it will be updated weekly :)
A little bit of information for anyone who may be confused with the whole tattoo=soul mate thing. Everyone has a tattoo which symbolizes the relationship between them and the other half of their soul. Soul mates have identical tattoo's in the same exact place on the body (it's said that's where the soul was split). When someone turns eighteen they go to the Matchers Clinic (a regular clinic that is also licensed to be a 'matcher') where they are cataloged into a world wide system in order to find their other half. Sometime's it takes years while others take a few hours, it all depends on the uniqueness of the tattoo and if the other soul has been cataloged. It's thanks to this system that nearly everyone finds their other half.
When it comes to the relationship that also depends on the type of tattoo. It is very possible for two soul mates to have a very loose bond, bonds like that usually lean more towards obsession rather than love. Soul mates, after coming into contact, need each other. It just depends on the bond and the people how that goes.
Since you can't chose your soul mate there is no homophobia since loving someone of the same has never been shamed. Soul mates are extremely sacred, it's the universal line that is never crossed. You're like the biggest on the planet if you try and get in between soul mates (and can get arrested!). But that doesn't mean people don't get into relationships before their soul mate is found. People still do the whole dating thing.
With idols it's a bit taboo to talk about? Since we all know how insane certain fan girls are you might be wondering how they react to their bias finding their soul mate. With the help of make up their tattoo is hidden (unless it's in a good hiding place already) and the label will keep it a secret from the media. Legally, and ethically, the labels cannot get in between their artists finding their soul mate. During interviews and on screen no one ever asks 'did you find your soul mate?', if they find them then they find them and keep it hidden. When fans do find out, the crazy ones still react the same way the do in real life (they're crazy you think they care?).
In order for their to be no confusion getting tattoo's is illegal before you are cataloged.
Hopefully that covered most of the points you think of but I'm sure you have a few more questions so wait until the first few chapters, there's a lot further explained in there :)
*Please do NOT tell me to update it makes me upset and doesn't make me want to write - it makes me want to do the opposite.
