An objective
There are two, almost contrasting meaning of drabbles from above there. if there's an intersecting point, it must be the fact that both definitions are the same when it comes to the length of drabbles; that they are short narrative pieces. But as to differentiate, the first meaning is definitely the traditional type of drabble while the second one describes the modernized kind. The first one tells that a drabble requires the brevity of a writer–the ability to present a prose in an extremely limited length. Meanwhile, the other one tells that a drabble instead requires a specific viewpoint–the substance or self-reflection of the character(s).
And I intend to do both, by this compilation; to acquire both the challenge and the sentiment.

It's most probably safe to say that I am the embodiment of a quiet river that runs deep. The most visible layer of me is calm and often conceals the entire substance of my character, just as the deepest stream can have the smoothest surface. I am neither verbally expressive nor am I fond of a leisure talk. Even among friends, I am not the type to voice out my thoughts. I always keep myself quiet, sometimes to put a mysterious front, but mostly because I think with so much depth, too much. And since I think that way, talking is only going to unravel the most intricate shred of me. I don't like doing that either.
And that's why I'm a self-proclaimed writer. I think way too much and way too deep most of the times so I have to find an 'escape route' or to me–a means of release. Writing is not just a hobby, nor a skill. It's a passion, something I am very devoted to. To an extent, it is also an aid whenever I'm down. But as I grow up, I have this urge to improve, like a need to prove people something. Thus, through that process, every now and then, I forget that writing is my own alternative in expressing myself, not a way to impress a crowd.
That's practically why I want to take this compilation in a very sentimental way. When I write, I have always been subtle about the real innuendoes of my pieces. Let's say, I am someone who plays on words, making my words seem distinct but the whole message still vague or vice versa.
Anyway, enough of these private stuffs. a month before, I start posting drabbles on tumblr. Jo unnie suggests then to put the posts too in here. At first, I think I'm trying tumblr's setting first. But then I realize that I always love interacting with readers/writers so I finally decide to this. All the meanwhile, it won't be about how I must write. Rather, it's going to be what I want to write. Since drabbles aren't exactly, mainly about the plot, it's going to enable me to manifest the very essence of the character(s).
PS HAPPY 11th to all Fallen Angels! The fandom has gotten a lot bigger, and I'm happy in both positive and negative ways. It makes me proud and scared at the same time, I mean :') Still, we all already come to this point so nonetheless, I'm greatly satisfied to see the seo-exo ships sailing! Love you all!
