Kim Joon Myeon is left alone with his drunk father because his mother died in a horrible incident which made his father fell deep into alcohol. His father all did by now is drink liquor all by himself till he falls asleep. He cried and mourns for his wife for years and left his son, Suho/Joon Myeon into facing life early for his age. He studied while working as a way of living. That made Suho not enjoy his life as a teenager but faced the life as an adult. He became hateful to everyone, especially his father.

Mean while, Lee Ji Eun is an bastard daughter, a daughter that was left by her own mother to his father that already has his own family. Her father never really loved her and considered her also a burden in their family. Her Stepmom and stepsister hated her and treated her like an animal in their house. Never did she felt happy in her life until Suho came along and treated her like a true person that needs respect and being loved. She has a secret that pains her everyday.

Will they ever find a way to escape these people who seems to make their lives miserable? Can they find happiness even if the world is filled with unfortunate event that may ruin their lives in an instant? Will they find their own safe place? A haven that would signify as a house filled with happiness and love that they now lack? Or would it end as another tragedy that will break their hearts into thousands of pieces?
