The innocent, gullible, nerd, Kim Myungsoo, was never the dating type. The sad part was, it's not even his own choice. Girls just didn't find him attractive. He was old - fashioned when it came to style but pro when it came to school. Myungsoo may be number one in school but he is last place in the social world. This becomes an issue once Myungsoo moves to a new high school where he meets Son Naeun. Perhaps not the most popular in the school but she was obviously way out of his league. She too didn't date as much but that was her own decision, no one has caught her attention yet. Naeun was into guys like 2pm, cool and charming. Mainly whatever Myungsoo wasn't. Although she was nice to everybody, she wasn't a big fan of the school geeks. This saddened Myungsoo and encouraged him to do something. He wanted to change. No more loser Myungsoo. New school meant for new looks and he was determined to finally get a girl this coming school year. 

On the other hand, meet Bae Suzy. This little miss popular has all the boys at her feet. Dating was never the problem. In fact, she was the exact opposite. Though she could easily get guys, she didn't have the grades to keep the one she wanted, Ok Taecyeon. Being her childhood crush since they were young kids, Taec was the president of the school. He was a very well - rounded student; great in any sport he played, aced all his classes, and joined many clubs. On top of that he was a kingka of the school along with his group, 2pm. Many things were going for him, he couldn't possibly let anyone slow him down, meaning a girl like Suzy. She was horrible at school, it was hard for her to barely pass middle school. Though majority was becasue she was just naturally a slow thinker, a part was due to the fact that school wasn't a priority. However, this changes once Taec, after many years, finally explains as to why she gets rejected. As the new school year begins, Suzy makes it her goal to succeed and prove to Taec that she isn't just a pretty face while hoping to win his heart.

Both Myungsoo and Suzy will definitely need help if they plan to change. Luckily, fate decides to bring both of them together to help one another. The heartbroken Suzy proposes a deal with the commited Myungsoo changing their lives forever. Myungsoo, with his brains, becomes Suzy's personal tutor while Suzy and her popularity become Myungsoo's personal stylist. How will this turn out?
