Chapter 6: Punishment

Yeojin’s POV

'OMG, lunch time is getting near. I keep looking at my watch and I could feel my heart beats rapidly right now. I wonder what that “RUDE BOY” wants from me. What I’ve done to him till he makes me like this? My life has turned terrified after knowing him. Why I am so unlucky?'

I released a big sigh.

'RINGGGGGGG!!! DAMN, THE SCHOOL BELL IS RINGING, SIGNING THAT IT'S TIME FOR LUNCH NOW.'

'What should I do now? Hiding? No I can’t. He’ll tell Mr Jung about my job. Then, I’ll be kicking out from this school. I don’t want my parents get trouble because of me. Run home? Are you crazy, Yeojin? The school is not finish yet. OMG, do I have any choices? NO!!!'

 I decided just to meet him. I walked slowly to the school park and when I reached there, I quickly hid behind a big tree.

'I'm not ready yet to meet him. I could feel something bad will happen to me. I can “smell” it.'

I took a deep breath and checked a few times to make sure either Donghae had been coming or not.

HE'S NOT COMING YET!!! Thank God, maybe I should go now, pretending that I forgot our promise today.

I smiled. When I turned back to go away from there, someone blocked me. I was surprised.

“What.. what are you doing here?” I stuttered. He smirked.

“Not me, but you. What are you doing here?” he asked me back. I was speechless.

'I’ve no excuse to tell him. Oh God, why he was here?'

“No...Nothing.  Didn’t... didn’t we promised to meet here... du...during lunch?” I still stuttered.

'DAMN. I’M SO STUPID. Why I'm stuttering in front of him? He must think that I'm afraid of him. NEVER!! Please never think so, Lee Donghae.'

He smiled to me. I knew the meaning behind his smile and I hate it.

“I’ve been waiting for you for 5 minutes. Why are you late? How dare you let me wait for you,” he said. I just looked down, didn’t dare to look into his eyes.

'I don’t know why I'm so weak in front of him. He's the first person who dares to raise his voice on me. MAYBE BECAUSE HE’S MY BOSS.'

“You’ll be getting punishment,” he continued. I was surprised hearing his words.

'WHAT? PUNISHMENT?'

I looked at him and he just smiled to me.

'STOP SMILING LEE DONGHAE! Your smile looks MEAN to me.'

“But, I’m...” I tried to reply back but he cut off my words.

“No, I don’t want to hear any reasons from you. I’m so hungry now. Get me some food in 3 minutes. Go now,” he ordered me. I still stood there, shocked with his suddenly order. I didn’t notice that he was looking at me.

“Why you’re not moving? Or you want me to tell Mr Jung about your...” before he could finish his words, I quickly run to cafe. I could hear his laugh.

'HE'S SO CRUEL!'

Donghae’s POV

'I ordered her to buy some food but she still didn’t move. What’s wrong with her?'

“Why you’re not moving? Or you want me to tell Mr Jung about your...” before I could finish my words, she quickly ran to cafe. She was really funny. I couldn’t hold back my laugh. I laughed loudly, I thought she probably heard that.

'I DON’T CARE!'

As I was waiting for her, I reminded the early incident. After the class, Miss Dae asked me to help her. As a good student, I can’t ignore her.

'IS IT NECESSARY TO PRAISE YOURSELF?'

I SMILED TO MYSELF.She asked me to arrange her files. I thought it was only 5 or 6 files but even more than that. As the result, I was late to meet Yeojin on time. I walked slowly to the school park but on my way, I saw a girl was hiding behind a big tree.

'WHAT IS SHE DOING THERE?'

I was curious and went closer to her.

'SHE'S YEOJIN. THIS IS A BIG CHANCE TO .'

As she turned back, I blocked her right away.

“What.. what are you doing here?” she asked me, stuttering. I just smirked.

'NOTHING. JUST CURIOUS WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE.'

I laughed evilly deep inside my heart.

“Not me, but you. What are you doing here?” I asked her back. She looked speechless, maybe still shocked to see me.

“No...Nothing.  Didn’t... didn’t we promised to meet here... du...during lunch?” she still stuttered.

'She looks CUTE when she's clueless. OMG! DONGHAE, DID YOU MENTION CUTE? What are you thinking?'

I shook my head. Then, I saw she was running towards me. She brought two pack of sandwiches for me. I looked at my watch.

'Wow, she's fast! It's not 3 minutes yet.'

“Here,” she said while giving me those sandwiches. She was puffing really hard and her forehead was wet because of sweats.

'I feel pity for her. But I can’t give up now.'

“Wait, where’s my drink?” I asked her. She was surprised and wanted to run back to the cafe but I stopped her immediately.

“Yeojin, buy me 2 drinks. What do you like?” I asked her. Her eyes were getting bigger, hearing my question.

“I... I like choc milk,” she answered.

“Then, buy me two bottles of choc milk,” I ordered her. She ran slowly to cafe. After a few minutes, she came to me while bringing 2 small bottles of chocolate milk. She gave me both.

“You can sit here,” I asked her to sit beside me. She looked tired and exhausted. She just listened to me and sat beside me. I can heard that she was panting so hard. I gave her a bottle of chocolate milk and one of my sandwiches. She seemed shocked and looked at me.

“Drink that. I don’t want to see my maid dies because of me,” I said and smiled to her.

Yeojin’s POV

'OMG, I’m so tired running here and there. How could I forget to buy him a drink? But why he asks me my favourite drink and then asks me to buy two bottles of chocolate milks? He's a weird guy. I thought one bottle is enough for him.'

As I tried to calm myself, someone handed me one bottle of chocolate milk and a piece of sandwich. I looked at him.

'DONGHAE GIVES ME A DRINK AND SANDWICH!!! IS IT FOR REAL? I can’t believe myself. I never thought he would be this nice. I thought I’ve probably misunderstood him. Maybe I should forgive him.'

 “Drink that. I don’t want to see my maid dies because of me,” he said to me.

'WHAT? IS THAT THE REASON WHY HE IS SO NICE TO ME!!! DONGHAE, THERE'S NO SORRY FOR YOU!!!
