Chapter 20: Tease

Donghae’s POV

OMG, what was that? Dad, you got a wrong time to meet me. I didn’t expect you to know about our relationship at this way. Aish!!!

“Hmm, op...oppa, I think maybe I should go now. Aunt Sora must be in the kitchen and I need... I need to help her,” Yeojin said awkwardly and just quickly went out from my room. I could feel her face was really red. She might be really shy as I am. I just nodded my head but my eyes followed her way.

I shook my head, trying to forget the “inappropriate incident”. Maybe I should be ready to school now. I went to bathroom and quickly wore my uniform. Then, I went out from my room but my mind keeps asking me ‘How could I face my dad? He might have told my mother about this already?’ Lee Donghae, be relax. Just be cool as before. I took a deep breath and slowly walking downstairs.

“Good morning, mom, dad,” I greeted them awkwardly especially to my dad as this morning “incident” still keep replaying in my mind. I didn’t dare to eye contact with him.

“Good morning dear,” my mom greeted me back while smiling sheepishly. Oh God, I bet she already knew about this. I looked at my dad. He was staring at me sharply and smiling too. I KNEW THE MEANING BEHIND YOUR SMILE, DAD.  I looked away and sat at my place quietly.

“How’s your morning today? I heard it was really SWEET. Right, honey?” my mom said and then asked my dad. Oh God, they started to tease me. I was blushing hearing that and just kept silent, didn’t know what to answer.

“You’re right, Mama. I didn’t expect to see something “special” today,” my dad replied as his eyes still keep staring at me. Both of them are really childish, making fun of me at this early morning.

“Aunt Sora, could you bring out Donghae’s foods?” my mom called Aunt Sora who was preparing breakfast at the kitchen. But then I saw Yeojin came out while bringing my foods. She walked slowly as her head just looking down. Her face was red. I wonder was it because of pain of the bruised on her knee or shame to my DAD?

Yeojin served the foods for me. My parents just looked at our actions. Both of us just kept silent, like nothing has happened this morning. I then heard my parents released out a huge sigh, maybe they were not satisfied with us. Aish, they are really cute!!

“Yeojin, how’s your knee? Is it alright already?” my dad asked Yeojin.

“Yes Sir, it’s getting better and thanks Sir,” Yeojin answered politely.

“Honey, what are you talking about? Of course her bruised will be getting better as long as our beloved people took care of us. Is it right, Donghae?” my mom asked me. I was drinking but thank God I didn’t spit out the juice after hearing my mom’s statement. I just nodded my head slowly. Aish, I can’t stand their teasing anymore. Maybe I should just go to school now.

“Mom, dad, I should go to school now,” I excused and started to walk away from there but then my mom called me.

“Donghae, did you forget something? Oops, I mean someone?” my dad asked me while smiling sheepishly to my mom. My mom replied back the smile.

Yeojin’s POV

OMG, that was really embarrassing but Thank God we were not kissing yet. I wonder what kind expressions will Mr Lee react if he saw that.

“Hmm, op...oppa, I think maybe I should go now. Aunt Sora must be in the kitchen and I need... I need to help her,” I said and then walked out from Donghae’s room. I could feel my face was really hot and red.

As I entered the kitchen, I saw Aunt Sora was busy preparing the foods for Mr Lee and family. I helped her. But then I heard Mrs Lee’s voice calling out for Aunt Sora.

“Yeojin, could you please send these foods to Donghae? I need to go toilet now, really can’t stand my stomached anymore,” she excused and then hurriedly go to toilet. I just shook my head while smiling seeing her clumsy attitude.

I walked slowly to dining room. I saw Donghae was looking down on the table. He seems shy and speechless. Don’t worry Yeojin!!! Be cool!!! I then served foods for Donghae. He looked up his head to see me but no words came out from our mouths. At the corner of my eyes I could feel Mr Lee and Mrs Lee were looking at us impatiently, looks like they were waiting something interesting to be happened. Then I heard Mr Lee spoke.

“Yeojin, how’s your knee? Is it alright already?” he asked me concernly. I was really grateful to have him as my boss. I thanked him sincerely as he really took care about me.

“Honey, what are you talking about? Of course her bruised will be getting better as long as our beloved people took care of us. Is it right, Donghae?” Mrs Lee suddenly spoke. I looked at Donghae. He almost spit out the juice that he was drinking after hearing that. It was really funny. He looks cute when he was blushing and this is the first time I saw him like this.

“Mom, dad, I should go to school now,” he excused himself and walked away from there but his steps immediately stopped as Mr Lee called his name.

“Donghae, did you forget something? Oops, I mean someone?” he asked him. What? Someone? What do you mean, Mr Lee? Was it me? I could feel my face turns redder than before. I looked at Donghae. He was really surprised like me.

“What are you thinking guys? We already knew about your relationship and we’re really happy. Both of you looks so cute together. Don’t be shy anymore, okay? We approve it” Mrs Lee said while smiling widely. I could see Mr Lee was smirking while nodding his head.

Donghae and I smiled hearing her words. But then, I felt someone touched my hand. It was Donghae. He twisted his hand with mine. He pulled up my hand and kissed it. I was really surprised with his action. Why are you doing this in front of them? I could see their mouths opened a bit, maybe shocked with their son’s playboy behaviour. But then, they smiled to us.

“Thanks mom, dad. You both are really the best!” Donghae thanked them and still hold my hand.

“Yeojin, let’s go to school together today,” he asked me happily. I nodded slightly and smiled to him. THANKS A LOT MR LEE AND MRS LEE FOR ACCEPTING ME AS I AM.
