I'm Smiling All Night

"You were amazing! Kyuhyun oppa daebak!!!"

A smile was plastered to my  face as I packed my things. She left minutes ago, but her presence still lingered. I was elated. After Sunny told me she was watching tonight, I prepped myself for what could possibly be my best performance of 'Singin' in the Rain' yet. I was more anxious to perform than before. Even Sunny noticed my attitude, but whether she knew the reason or not, she didn't pursue the issue.

I mean, how could I not be excited? After all the invitations and persuasion, she finally came to watch. Therefore, I performed like never before. As long as it's Yoona, I'll always do my best.

"Kyuhyun, come on!" manager-hyung shouted from outside my dressing room. I stuffed the last of my things into my bag and stepped out. Manager-hyung fetched me and walked with me to the exit, where-I am absolutely sure-my fans would be waiting.

As usual, my fans were swarming the exit and squealing in utter excitement when they saw me. I smiled at them. I've been told that Yoona had also used the same path on her way out, and at the time I was sincerely praying that my fans would just let her pass. To my surprise, they did-even moving back to make way for Yoona and her companions to pass through. I was totally relieved to hear that. My fans are the best.

As I approached the door, something-either my heart or my subconcious-told me to slow down. I would usually just pass through my fans and straight to the car without accepting anything. I would wave and flash smiles to them, too. But today, I just felt so lighthearted. I paused every now and then to get all their gifts, one by one. Manager-hyung, who was ahead of me, had a slightly shocked look on his face, but even then he did not insist on me to move faster. I accepted their gifts gratefully before moving on.

When I reached the car, my hands were full of so many gifts. Manager-hyung teased me, saying I had such a huge grin on my face the entire time that even my fans noticed my sudden change in behavior. I only chuckled at him, then brought out my phone to text my choding bestfriend. Inside one of my pants' front pockets, a small note, which was neatly folded, was lying comfortably. Written on it was a message Yoona wrote:

You are spectacular as always. I had a cake delivered for you to your dorm. I am very proud of you, oppa. Congratulations and thank you for a great show. I hope you enjoy the cake. It's your favorite flavor, and there's enough for all oppas.

P.S. I'm glad you didn't slip, but that would've been truly hysterical.

Tch. This weirdo. Always mocking me. But despite that, I didn't feel annoyed. I was kinda used to it anyway. It was truly a good night. And I'm looking forward to eating that cake.

A/N: It's been two months since I last updated this. Mianhe. I was really busy. But here ya go! Inspired by Kyuhyun's face after his SITR performance which Yoona watched. If you saw the pictures, you might agree that he looked particularly happy that day. He even stopped to recieve the gifts! Huehuehue ChoKyu.
