Title: The One For Me

Kyungsoo’s POV

 “Look its Kyungsoo! Look at how he’s so handsome!” A girl whispered

“Quick! He’s coming this way!” Another girl muttered

“Oh my gosh! Is he looking at me?” A girl asked the one beside her

Soon a crowd gathers beside me asking questions and complimenting me. I only smiled and nodded avoiding them

“Ack!” A girl cried

I caught her before she fell, “Are you okay?” I asked

The girl nodded; smiling dreamily at me, I helped her stand up and proceeded walking. I went to my homeroom and notice that there’s still time to spare so I looked around the room trying to find something interesting.

When all of a sudden a girl entered books full in her hands then she fell. I ran to her and helped her get her books. When our hands touched my heart skipped a beat, but she quickly moved her hands away. She stood up and I followed her and gave her the remaining books.

“Thank you,” The girl smiled and bowed

“Uhm..” I scratched the back of my nape. How do I say this? “D-do you need help with those books?” What is wrong with me?

“No thanks, I got this..” The girl smiled and walked off going to the back of the classroom carefully placing her things.

“Kyungsoo!” Someone called my name I turned back and saw Baekhyun running towards me.

“Hey,” I greeted

“Do you want to go out today?” Baekhyun asked

“I can’t have a load of homework,” I shake my head, “Maybe next time.”

“Oh, alright,” Baekhyun shrugged

“By the way.”

“Hmm?” Baekhyun looked at me

“It’s nothing..”

I went to the library that day I opened my math book and heaved a breath. I flipped to the right page and did some problems until the last two..

“What is this?” I asked, re-reading the problem

When suddenly a finger pointed at the problem I looked at the owner. My heart stopped, It’s her..

“This is actually quite easy,” The girl smiled at me, “You just have to..” The girl wrote something on a paper and placed it on top of the problem. I stared at the paper and smiled finally understanding the problem.

“Do you understand it now?” She asked, smiling at me

Seeing her smile made me smile, “Yes, thank you. By the way, my name is Kyungsoo.”

“Oh, I know about you,” she chuckled, “My name is Kim JunShin, call me JunShin.”

That day I got to know JunShin more and I could tell that she and I have a lot of things in common.

Weeks pass, I and JunShin became closer that we started hanging out as friends outside the classroom. Until JunShin started to avoid me, I tried talking to her, but she wouldn’t acknowledge me. I didn’t do anything, right? Maybe I shouldn’t have-

“Kyungsoo!” Baekhyun looked at me, “Were you even listening to your hyung?”

I snapped out of my thought, “What is it, hyung?”

Baekhyun looked at me and nodded, “You know what? I heard that JunShin..” At the mention of JunShin I became more alert.

“Why? What happened to her?” I asked, panicking

“Molla,” Baekhyun shrugged, “By the way, did you know Mrs Park-“

“Have you heard about JunShin?” A girl asked her friend

My ears were alert and I hushed Baekhyun

“Yeah, they said that they would beat her up,” The girl smiled

“That's what she gets for hanging with our Kyungsoo,” The girl smiled back

I stood up and went to their table and slammed my fist

“Oh!” The girl was surprised, “Kyungsoo-ah!”

“Where is she?” I asked, getting impatient

“Molla,” The girl only shrugged

“Wha-“

“Yah! Kyungsoo!” Baekhyun held me, “Let’s go and search for her.”

I nodded and glared at the girls, “If something happened to her.. I swear to god..”

“Let’s go!” Baekhyun ordered, “Let’s separate I’ll call you when I see her.”

We started running to the hallway Baekhyun going to the other side of the hallway and I checking every classroom but I saw no sign of her. Where is she! I grasped my hair. My phone buzzed and I picked it up

“Have you seen her?” I asked

“Yes, she’s with me now,” Baekhyun whispered

“Where are you?”

“She’s not in the condition to see you..” Baekhyun sighed

I nodded, understanding

The call ended and I sat down on the floor. I shouldn’t have met her.. I cried

Ever since then I haven’t talked to anyone Baekhyun started worrying about me, but I always shrugged him off telling I’m okay but I wasn’t. One day, Baekhyun texted me to meet him in the library he said that it was urgent. When I got to the library no one was there until someone came inside.

"Hello?" A girl softly said JunShin?

When I turned around my heart sped. How I miss her.. I wanted to grab her and hug her, but she turned around wanting to leave.

"Wait!" I shouted and ran to her

"What is it?" She asked, coldly

"Face me please.."

She turned around and tears were covering her eyes. At the sight of her tears my heart was breaking

"I'm sorry.." I apologized and wiped her tears, "I'm sorry I wasn't able to protect you," I hugged her

JunShin shook her head, "Don't apologize.."

We stayed like that until she finally calmed down

"Listen," I cupped her face and looked at her; "I love you."

A tear rolled down in her eye and I quickly wiped it away

She smiled, "I love you too."

I kissed her and I know that she's the one for me.
