Kim Taeyeon merrily entered the elevator with a smile plastered onto her face. 

"Why are you so happy today?" Sunny asked her coworker aka bestfriend, who began getting all giddy when she heard Sunny's question. 

"..."

"Well?"

Taeyeon grinned. "Another day of seeing Jessica again."

"That's all?"

Taeyeon nodded her head.

Sunny sighed as the elevator door opened and she walked out together with Taeyeon and entered her office. "Taeyeon. Jessica doesn't like...no, she hates you."

"So?" Taeyeon stops in her track and looks at Sunny blankly. "I don't hate her."

"You need to stop pursuing her Taeyeon. I mean, it's been a year. No progress."

Taeyeon shook her head in a disagreement. "No. We've been on dates."

Sunny rolled her eyes. "I don't think being her chauffeur, errand girl and personal shopping bag counts." She ended with a dry chuckle. "It's more of a torment if you ask me. You're basically her slave."

Taeyeon meronged her friend. "I'm her personal assistant, not slave. And any moment spent with her is better than any date." She said with a smile.

"Taeyeon-"

"I really, really, really like her Sunny. Why can't you accept that?" Taeyeon asked in all seriousness as she leaned against Sunny's desk, while the latter sat down on her desk.

"Taeyeon. I know how you feel. And I think its great that you feel like this toward someone. I really do. But Jessica, it seems like she doesn't even care. How do you know she'll reciprocate your feelings? I mean, she's known to be heartless, cold, and mean to all her suitors. Even to her employees."

"Those are merely rumors. She's not like that." Taeyeon countered. "Trust me. During this past year, I've come to know and understand her alot more. She can be mean, but only when she has to and for the rest of the time, her appearing careless and cold is just how she is."

"You're right. I'm sorry. But if she does hurt you, I won't stay still. Understood?"

"Yes. Thanks Financing Manager!" Taeyeon teased but in reality, Sunny was the marketing director of the Jung Enterprise. All possible with hard work and dedication of course. :D

"No problem."

*Beep*

Taeyeon looked at her phone to view her text message and upon reading it, she let out a small chuckle and stood up.

"What does she need this time  Taeyeon?"

"Well, since I'm basically her personal assistant now, why don't you take a guess?"

"Assist her to the bathroom?" Sunny's joke earned a laughter and playful hit from Taeyeon.

"She needs me to overview some files for her and go over her schedule for her again for the day." Taeyeon uttered in a matter of fact tone before recomposing herself. "I better get going now before HellSica unleashes."

"Hellsica? I don' t even want to know what that is."

Taeyeon laughed. "Trust me. You don't want to know. It's scary."

Sunny sighed and let out a smile to her lovestruck best friend. "I don't know how you can stay so calm."

"Well, Jessica's worth it. And besides, it takes time for ice to melt. And so, why shouldn't I stay patient and calm?"

"And if your calmness ends up being frozen, and your love thrown to oblivion, what will you do?" Sunny challenged.

Taeyeon merely turns around to look at Sunny, quite surprised by Sunny's question. But she knew the answer. She always did.

"Then...that's fate."
