“Aren’t we too old to be playing hide and seek?” Yuri asked.

“Come on Sica this isn’t funny. Your mom’s coming in a few minutes, where are you?” Taeyeon whined.

But Jessica paid them no mind. She relaxed as she sat on a tree branch in a tree too high for Taeyeon and even ‘sudden-growth-spurt’ Yuri to climb or even see her. She leaned onto Sooyoung’s shoulder as the ghost supported her so she won’t fall. They watch as Taeyeon and Yuri walked past by their hiding place, oblivious that the person they are looking for is snickering as they cluelessly look for her. 

Sooyoung shook her head. “Sicachu, it’s mean to play tricks on your friends like this.”

Jessica replied with a glare. “Are you choosing them over me, unnie?”

“No, Sicachu, you know I love you.”

“I love you too.” Jessica finally smiled at the ghost and the ghost halfheartedly smiled back.

You do love me, but not the same type of love I give to you.

Jessica snuggled closer to her ghost unnie as they continue staring off the distance. The changing palette provided by the sunset painted a very surreal looking backdrop to the silhouette of the buildings that tower over the tree they are on. They can hear the c
